Abstract

Meningkatnya pembangunan fisik pada perkotaan dan pusat industri mengakibatkan menurunnya kualitas udara bersih di lingkungan. Penurunan udara bersih di lingkungan ini dapat ditanggulangi dengan menggunakan alat pengkondisian udara, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan peralatan air washer. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian terhadap peralatan air washer untuk mengetahui nilai temperatur bola basah dan kelembaban relatif yang mampu dicapai oleh air washer yang di gunakan di dalam ruangan. Dari hasil pengujian di dapatkan, pada saat pengujian dengan temperatur udara masuk 26,9ºC nilai dari temperatur bola basah yang terukur adalah sebesar 22,5ºC dengan kelembaban relatif mencapai 99,0% , pada temperatur 29,2ºC nilai dari temperatur bola basah yang terukur adalah sebesar 24,3ºC dengan kelembaban relatif mencapai 91,1%.

Increased physical development in cities and industrial centers has resulted in a decrease in the quality of clean air in the environment. The reduction in clean air in this environment can be overcome by using air conditioning devices, one of which is using air washer equipment. In this study, an air washer equipment was tested to determine the value of the temperature of the wet bulb and the relative humidity that can be achieved by the water washer used in the room. From the test results obtained, at the time of testing with 26.9ºC of incoming air temperature the measured temperature of the wet bulb is 22.5ºC with relative humidity reaching 99.0%, at a temperature of 29,2ºC the value of the measured wet bulb temperature is amounting to 24.3ºC with relative humidity reaching 99.1%.
