Abstract

Robot Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) yang dioperasikan pada lingkungan berbahaya, dibuat agar dapat dikendalikan secara jarak jauh. Kondisi tersebut dapat mempersulit operator untuk mengetahui informasi pada robot. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut yaitu dengan merancang suatu Monitoring System. Sistem dirancang meliputi pembuatan Graphical User Interface (GUI) dan Modul Simulator. GUI digunakan untuk menampilkan informasi-informasi robot. Sedangkan Modul Simulator digunakan untuk melakukan simulasi pengiriman informasi robot berupa kapasitas baterai, kompas, pose arm dan flipper. Pembuatan modul ini dikarenakan kondisi robot masih dalam pengembangan, sehingga dapat mempersulit proses pengujian GUI untuk menerima informasi robot. Proses pengiriman informasi robot akan dilakukan melalui jaringan WiFi. Maka dari itu, informasi robot yang akan dikirimkan dalam bentuk paket data. Paket data yang digunakan pada Monitoring System ini dikirimkan menggunakan protokol User Datagram Protocol (UDP) dan Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). Hasil yang didapatkan dari proses pengujian antara lain, GUI telah berhasil untuk menerima sekaligus melakukan visualisasi paket data yang dikirimkan oleh Modul Simulator. Rata-rata kesalahan dari proses visualisasi tiap peket data UDP sebesar 2,68 %.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) robot, which is operated in a dangerous environment, is made so that it can be controlled remotely. These conditions can make it difficult for operators to find out information on robots. One solution to this problem is to design a Monitoring System. The system is designed to include making Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Simulator Module. The GUI is used to display robotic information. Whereas the Simulator Module is used to simulate robot information delivery in the form of battery capacity, compass, pose arm and flipper. Making this module is because the condition of the robot is still under development, so it can complicate the GUI testing process to receive robotic information. The process of sending robot information will be carried out via a WiFi network. Therefore, robot information will be sent in the form of a data package. The data package used in the Monitoring System is sent using the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) protocol and Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). The results obtained from the testing process include the GUI that has succeeded in receiving and visualizing data packets sent by the Simulator Module. The average error of the visualization process for each UDP data packet is 2.68%.
