Abstract
Danau Sentani merupakan salah satu danau yang
termasuk dalam 15 Danau Prioritas Indonesia. Konferensi
Nasional Danau Indonesia I (KNDI I) menghasilkan beberapa
kesepakatan yang ditandatangani oleh sembilan menteri terkait.
Salah satunya adalah pengembangan sistem informasi, evaluasi
dan informasi danau.
Perubahan kualitas air dianalisa dengan menggunakan
data citra MEdium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS).
Parameter kualitas air yang digunakan adalah Total Suspended
Solid (TSS), Colored Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM) dan
Klorofil-a. Ekstraksi ketiga kualitas air tersebut dilakukan
dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) algoritma koreksi atmosfer MERIS.
Ketiga algoritma tersebut adalah Regional Water Processor,
Boureal Lakes Processor dan Euthropic Lakes Processor.
Perubahan kualitas air ini dipantau pada 10 stasiun yang
tersebar di wilayah perairan danau. Selain itu, klasifikasi tutupan
lahan di daerah sempadan Danau Sentani digunakan sebagai
bahan analisa perubahan kualitas air.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi
perubahan parameter kualitas air dari tahun 2003-2011. Hal ini disebabkan oleh terjadinya perubahan tutupan lahan di daerah
sempadan danau.

Lake Sentani is one of the lakes which is included in
Fifteen Indonesian Priority Lakes. The 1st Indonesia Lakes
National Conference (KNDI I) resulted agreements which was
signed by nine ministries. One of which is developing of
information system, evaluation and lakes information.
Water-quality changes are analyzed by using MEdium
Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image. Parameter of
water qualities are Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Colored
Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM) and Chlorophyll-a.
Extraction of these qualities use three MERIS atmosphere
corrections. Three of them are Regional Water Processor,
Boureal Lakes Processor and Euthropic Lakes Processor. Waterquality
changes are observed by using 10 station which are
spreaded in the water of lake. Beside that, land cover nearby of
Lake Sentani is classified in order to be the object of analyzed of
water-quality changes.The results shows that there is a change of water-quality
from 2003 until 2011. It is caused by the change of its land cover.
