Abstract
Di masa seperti saat ini permasalahan kemacetan lalu
lintas merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh kota - kota
besar di Indonesia, salah satunya Kota Surabaya. Banyak
rencana yang tengah dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Surabaya,
salah satunya adalah pembangunan sistem transportasi massal
yaitu kereta trem dan monorail. Pembahasan dalam Tugas Akhir
ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan demand yang akan digunakan
dalam merencanakan lebar area pejalan kaki (walking area) dan
lebar area penumpang menunggu (waiting area).
Data yang digunakan adalah data survey counting dan
survey wawancara yang kemudian dari data tersebut dapat
dianalisa demand, perencanaan sistem ticketing, perhitungan
antrian pada saat ticketing serta analisa level of service bagi
pengguna area pejalan kaki dan area penumpang menunggu.
Hasil analisa didapatkan demand yang akan
menggunakan kereta trem sebanyak 378 penumpang dan
monorail sebanyak 478 penumpang. Sedangkan perencanaan
lebar area pejalan kaki adalah 4 m, dengan analisa level of
service area menunggu adalah P = 30 m dan L = 4 m untuk
stasiun trem dan P = 38 m dan L = 4 m untuk stasiun monorail.

Currently traffic congestion problem is a common
problem in every big city in Indonesia, one of which is the city of
Surabaya. Many plans are being made by the government of
Surabaya, one of which is the mass rapid transit sistem
construction is tram and monorail trains. The purpose of
discussion in this final project to get demand that will be used to
a wide pedestrian area (walking area) and wide waiting
passengers area (waiting area).
The data used are counting survey data and interviews
survey, which can be analyzed for determining demand, ticketing
system planning, and queueing at ticketing process and analysis
of level of service for the pedestrian area and waiting area.
From the analysis, demand for tram is 378 passengers
and for monorail is 478 passenger. Width of pedestrian facility is
4 m. From level of service analysies, waiting area calculated is 30
x 4 m for the tram station and 38 x 4 m for monorail station.
