Abstract
Mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia makanan pokoknya
adalah nasi, sehingga dunia pertanian sangat penting
peranannya dalam penyediaan beras bagi negeri ini. Dalam
kehidupan, air merupakan kebutuhan hidup yang sangat besar
peranannya, begitu juga dengan halnya dunia pertanian, air
sangat diperlukan untuk mengairi daerah irigasi. Penyelesaian
dari permasalahan tersebut tidak bisa terlepas dari pemahaman
tentang Hidrologi yang merupakan dasar dari kegiatan
perencanaan pengairan, karena Hidrologi merupakan ilmu yang
mempelajari dan mendalami tentang air dan penggunaannya.
Dalam permasalahan ini maka penulis mencoba
mengoptimalkan pola tanam yang ada di daerah irigasi Sampean
dengan bantuan software program linear. Program ini membantu
kita untuk menentukan berapa luasan untuk tanaman padi,
palawija, dan tebu. Setelah kita dapat masing-masing luasan
tanaman, maka selanjutnya kita menghitung hasil pendapatan
produksi yang juga diperoleh dari program tersebut.
Berdasarkan hasil luasan optimum setiap jenis tanaman
dengan awal tanam Nopember 1 sampai Desember2 diperoleh
pendapatan maksimum pada awal tanam Nopember 1 yaitu
sebesar Rp 355.526.800.000 dengan pola tanam padi-palawijatebu,
sedangkan pendapatan terendah terjadi pada awal tanam

Nopember3 yaitu sebesar Rp284.478.600.000 dengan pola tanam
padi-palawija-tebu.

The majority of Indonesian people staple food is rice, so
that the world of agriculture very important role in the provision
of rice for this country. In life, water is a necessity of life is a very
big role, as well as the world as agriculture, water is needed to
irrigate the irrigation area. Settlement of these problems can not
be separated from an understanding of Hydrology which is the
basis of irrigation planning activities, because Hydrology is the
study and explore on the water and its use..
In this issue, the authors try to optimize the existing
cropping pattern in irrigated areas Sampean with the help of
linear programming software. This program helps us to
determine how many extents to plant rice, and sugarcane. Once
we can each crop area, then the next we calculate earnings
results were also obtained from the production of the program.
Based on the results of the optimum extent of each type of
crop with planting beginning November 1 until December 2 was
obtained maximum revenue at the beginning of the planting of
November 1 that is equal to Rp 355.526. 800.000 with the
cropping pattern of rice-crops-sugarcane, while the lowest
income occurred at the beginning of the planting of November 3,

namely Rp 284 478 600 000 with the cropping pattern of ricecrops-
sugarcane.
