Abstract
Sistem tenaga listrik yang baik adalah sistem yang dapat
menjamin keandalan dan kesinambungan penyaluran. Kenaikan arus
hubung singkat mengakibatkan koordinasi proteksi menjadi tidak tepat
sehingga keandalan sistem menurun akibat pemutusan tidak berada
tepat pada titik gangguan yang seharusnya. Pada saat dilakukan simulasi
gangguan pada incoming feeder Tursina terjadi kesalahan koordinasi
proteksi dengan terputusnya rele diluar kawasan Tursina karena setting
lowset rele tersebut lebih rendah dari arus hubung singkat yang lewat.
Untuk mengurangi arus hubung singkat yang mengalir pada feeder yang
memiliki arus gangguan terbesar diperlukan impedansi tambahan salah
satunya menggunakan Hybrid Superconducting Fault Current Limiter
(SFCL) agar tidak perlu dilakukan resetting pada sistem utama ring PT.
Pupuk Kaltim. Setelah dilakukan penempatan dan setting SFCL pada
incoming feeder Tursina terjadi penurunan arus hubung singkat 3 fasa ½
cycle dari 16,1kA menjadi 3,44kA maka dilakukan koordinasi ulang
rele arus lebih sehingga menghasilkan kerja rele yang sesuai pada titik
gangguan dan meningkatkan keandalan sistem. Hasil koordinasi
ditampilkan menggunakan kurva Time Current Curve (TCC). ========== A great power system is a system that can assure its reability and
the continuity of distribution. The increasing of short circuit current
makes protection-coordination become inaccurate, therefore it reduce
system’s realibility due to inaccurate tripping of fault point. When
simulating the fault at incoming feeder of Tursina, there was a mess
protection-coordination, breaker on the outside of Tursina is open due
to its low set lower than contribution current from Kanibungan to
Tursina. To reduce short circuit current on the feeder which has the
biggest short circuit current, an additional impedance is needed, one of
this additional impedance is Hybrid Superconducting Fault Current
Limiter (SFCL), so there is no need to do resetting at main system of PT.
Pupuk Kaltim. After SFCL’s installation has done at the incoming feeder
of Tursina, there was decreasment of 3 phase ½ cycle short circuit
current from 16,1 kA to 3,44 kA so the resetting of overcurrent relay is
needed, so the relays work based on the right sequence at the fault point
and increase its realibility. Protection-coordination showed as Current
Time Curve (TCC).
