Abstract
Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini telah dilakukan identifikasi
sistem (fungsi komponen) serta analisa kualitatif dan kuantitatif
berupa evaluasi kehandalan komponen penyusun gas sweetening
system (H2S removal system). Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui komponen kritis penyusun H2S removal
system, menentukan interval perawatan efektif dan menentukan
usaha pencegahan kegagalan yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan
adalah evaluasi kehandalan komponen (kuantitatif) untuk
mengetahui komponen kritis penyusun sistem. Selain itu juga
dilakukan penerapan metode kualitatif reliability centerd
maintenance (RCM) yang berguna menangani setiap kegagalan
yang terjadi pada komponen penyusun sistem. Hasil yang
didapatkan berupa jadwal perawatan yang optimal untuk setiap
komponen penyusun sistem, dan dari hasil penerapan RCM telah
dibuat tabel RCM yang mendeskripsikan sistem secara mendetail
menjawab tujuh pertanyaan dasar tentang RCM sebagai
rekomendasi kegiatan dalam rangkan pencegahan kegagalan.
Komponen kritis penyusun H2S removal system antara lain guard
beds filter/dust filter B, hot lean amine pump A, amine
mechanical filter dan solvent filter berdasarkan laju kegagalan
yang terus meningkat.

At this research has been carried out identification system
(components function) as well as qualitative analysis and
quantitative reliability evaluation of gas sweetening components
of the system (H2S removal system). The purpose of this study was
to determine the critical components of the H2S removal system,
determine the effective maintenance intervals and determine the
exact failure prevention efforts. The quantitative method used in
the evaluation of the reliability of components and determine the
critical components of the system. It also applied qualitative
method that is realibility centered maintenance (RCM) who useful
to handle any failures in the components of the system. The
results obtained for the schedule maintenance of component and
the results of the application of RCM has been made a table that
describes detail of the system to answering seven basic questions
about RCM as recommendations of failure prevention activities.
Critical components of H2S removal system is guard beds
filter/dust filter B, hot lean amine pump A, amine mechanical
filter dan solvent filter based on increasing failure rate.
