Abstract
Kecenderungan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk lanjut usia (lansia) di
Indonesia terlihat sangat signifikan. Namun peningkatan jumlah penduduk lansia
ini kurang selaras dengan banyaknya tempat, ruang, maupun fasilitas yang tersedia
khusus bagi lansia tersebut, mengingat bahwa lansia mengalami penurunan kondisi
kesehatan akibat proses penuaan. Penuaan adalah masa dimana seseorang
mengalami perubahan keberfungsian tubuh yang terjadi di sekitar usia 60 tahun
keatas. Perubahan tersebut meliputi perubahan biologis, psikologis, dan sosiologis.
Perubahan biologis berupa penurunan fungsi tubuh, penurunan daya ingat, dan
melambatnya proses berfikir. Sedangkan perubahan psikologis dan sosiologis
berupa perubahan peran sosial, penurunan kualitas hidup, dan penurunan
kepercayaan diri. Akibat dari perubahan kondisi ini maka dibutuhkan fasilitas,
pelayanan dan penataan interior yang dapat memenuhi segala kebutuhan lansia.
Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian
dilakukan dengan melakukan analisa kebutuhan lansia, dan melakukan pengamatan
fenomena sosial yang terjadi di Panti Tresna Werdha Hargo Dedali, sehingga hasil
penelitian yang didapatkan tidak bersifat statistik dan tidak ada aturan absolut
dalam mengolah hasil pengamatan. Konsep yang dihadirkan pada panti werdha ini
adalah konsep natural, aman, dan nyaman, yaitu memiliki bentukan aman dan
sederhana dengan tujuan menciptakan suasana alami untuk memberi persepsi
nyaman bagi lansia. Aplikasi konsep tersebut bermaksud untuk menitikberatkan
pada faktor kenyamanan lansia, sehingga lansia mendapatkan kualitas hidup yang
layak dan sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. ========== The tendency of increase in the number of elderly people (elderly) in
Indonesia looks very significant. But there is not many places, spaces and facilities
are available specifically for the elderly, given that the health conditions of the
elderly declined as a result of the aging process. Aging is a period when a person
experiencing changes in the functioning of the body that occurs around the age of
60 years and older. These changes include biological, psychological, and
sociological changes. Biological changes are decreased function of the body,
memory loss, and slower process of thinking. While the psychological and
sociological changes are social roles changes, decreased quality of life, and
decreased self-esteem. Then, enhancement of the required facilities, services and
interior designing is needed to provide all the needs of the elderly.
Analysis method is descriptive qualitative method. The study was conducted
by analyzing the needs of the elderly, and to observe social phenomena that occur
in Panti Tresna Werdha Hargo Dedali. So that the results obtained are no statistics
and no absolute rule in processing the results of observations. The concept
presented in this Elderly nursing is the concept of natural, safe, and comfortable,
which have formed a safe and simple with the aim of creating a natural atmosphere
to give the perception convenient for the elderly. Application of the concept intends
to focus on the convenience factor of the elderly, so that the elderly get a decent
quality of life and as required.
