Abstract
Kompleks Cu(II) dengan ligan 2(4-Klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode variasi kontinu. Kompleks Cu(II) dengan ligan 2(4-Klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol disintesis dari reaksi antara CuCl2.2H2O dan ligan 2(4-Klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol. Rendemen hasil sintesis kompleks didapatkan 57,89 %. Rumus molekul kompleks adalah [Cu(II)-(C21H15N2Cl)2(H2O)2]Cl2.2H2O] dan kompleks berwarna hijau. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil karakterisasi CHN analyzer dan SSA yang menyebutkan bahwa kadar (%) unsur C, H, N dan Cu yang sesuai dengan perhitungan teoritis. Rumus molekul ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil analisis TGA yang menunjukkan adanya air kristal dalam kompleks yang terbentuk. Hasil uji toksitas senyawa kompleks Cu(II) dengan ligan 2(4-klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol dihasilkan LC50 sebesar 213,8 ppm.

Cu(II) complexes with 2(4-clorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole ligand had been successfully synthesized. Complex cooper(II) with 2(4-clorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole was synthesized from reaction between CuCl2.2H2O and 2(4-clorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole ligand. Compound of synthesized as complexes has yield 57,89 %. Molecule formula complex is [Cu(II)-(C21H15N2Cl)2(H2O)2]Cl2.2H2O] and the colour of complex is green. This molecule formula has know from the assay result (%) of CHN analyzer and AAS that same with calculation theory. TGA showed that there is crystal water on this complex compound. Toxicity test result of Cu(II) complexes with 2(4-clorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole ligand is LC50 213,8 ppm.
