Abstract

Ditinjau dari letak topografi, Kota Bandung terletak pada
ketinggian rata-rata +791m dpl. Titik tertinggi di daerah utara
dengan ketinggian +1050 m dpl dan terendah di sebelah selatan
dengan ketinggian +675 m dpl. Secara fisik, letak Bandara Husein
Sastranegara yang berada di tengah pemukiman padat, dengan
topografi sekitar Bandara Husein Sastranegara Bandung yang
merupakan dataran tinggi dikelilingi pegunungan. Sehingga, perlu
diperhatikan keselamatan operasional penerbangan akibat
pergerakan pesawat terkait dengan terbatasnya ruang udara.
Dalam Tugas Akhir ini, dilakukan evaluasi pola pergerakan
pesawat terhadap topografi dan kawasan operasi penerbangan
Bandara Husein Sastranegra. Selain itu juga dilakukan evaluasi
kapasitas dan berat masing-masing pesawat terbang yang
beroperasi terhadap ruang udara yang tersedia, dalam hal ini
berkaitan dengan jarak tempuh pesawat dan panjang runway yang
tesedia, serta konsumsi bahan bakar dan payload pesawat.
Evaluasi dalam tugas akhir ini memberikan hasil bahwa pada
arah memanjang runway, kawasan keselamatan operasi
penerbangan Bandara Husein Sastranegara terhadap topografi
memenuhi syarat dan menjamin keselamatan operasional. Pada
arah melintang runway, kawasan operasi penerbangan Bandara
Husein Sastranegara terhadap topografi tidak memenuhi, karena
elevasi topografi lebih tinggi dari pada batas elevasi kawasan
keselamatan operasi penerbangan (KKOP) Bandara Husein

Sastranegara dan pergerakan masing-masing pesawat tidak
mengalami gangguan keselamatan operasional terhadap
topografi. Dalam radius destinasi 820 nm pesawat dapat
menghabiskan bahan bakar sebesar 12325.61 liter sehingga
konsumsi bahan bakar pesawat per panjang destinasi yag
ditempuh adalah 15 liter/nautical miles. Operasional pesawat
optimum adalah pada jarak tempuh 962 nm (1781.62 km) dengan
mengkonsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 14200 liter dan payload
sebesar 12387 kg. Pesawat boeing 737-800 yang beroperasi di
Bandara Husein Sastranegara Bandung, dapat memperpanjang
jarak tempuhnya hingga sejauh 962nm.

Based on its topography, Bandung is located at an average
altitude of +791 m above sea. The highest point in the northern
areas with altitude +1050 m above sea level and the lowest in the
south with a height of +675 m. The location of the Husein
Sastranegara Airport in the middle of densely populated, with its
topography surrounded by mountains. Therefore, it’s an important
thing to give an attention to the safety of flight operations due to
the movement of aircraft associated with the limited air space.
In this paper, it would be evaluated the patterns of air
movement towards regional topography and flight operations
service of Husein Sastranegra airport. It was also conducted an
evaluation capacity and weight of each aircraft that operates the
air space available, in this case related to the aircraft and the
distance of the available runway length, as well as fuel
consumption and payload aircraft.
The evaluation in this paper provides the results that the
longitudinal direction of the runway, flight operations safety area
of Husein Sastranegara Airport to the topography was eligible and
ensured the operational safety. In the transverse direction of the
runway, the flight operations department of Husein Sastranegara
Airport to the topography did not meet, because the topographic
elevation higher than the elevation of the boundary area of the
safety of flight operations (KKOP) Husein Sastranegara Airport.
Also the movement of each plane was not impaired operational

safety of the topography. Within a radius of 820 nm destinations
could best spend at 12325.61 liters of fuel, so that the fuel
consumption per destination reached was 15 liters / nautical miles.
Flight Operations optimum mileage is at 962 nm (1781.62 km) with
fuel consumption of 14200 liters and a payload of 12 387 kg.
Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating in Bandung Husein
Sastranegara Airport is able to extend the distance as far as
962nm.
