Abstract

==========================================================
Hydroponic farming system is a new breakthrough in the field of vegetable and fruit plantations in the world, developed countries in Europe and America using this cropping system to boost their fruit and vegetable production by utilizing the narrow land and water media. Many Indonesian people who have started this Hydroponics in business and it can really help the government in suppressing the number of imported fruits and vegetables Indonesia from abroad.
This research aims to optimize the production process of hydroponic vegetables in PT.Pentario Liberia Persada. The company still has problems in meeting demand for vegetable erratic, as a result the company did porses planting using an estimate so that errors that occur between planting plan and the actual demand is very large. By using methods of forecasting this research taking into account trends in the data request hydroponic vegetable products from this company with the goal of reducing error then the result of forecasting is used as a reference for modeling Mix Integer Linear Programming with due regard to operational costs and also the planting medium pipe. Similarly done planting on media planning pipeline by taking into account the types of vegetables will be planted and the existing demand forecasting results.
The results of the optimization on April - May 2016 note that minimum operational costs incurred by the company amounted to Rp 50.019.000,- where it managed to reduce the cost of the real cost of the company in the period by 5%. Demand sensitivity analysis shows the change in demand of 15% shall be adjusted by the addition of 21 pieces of media pipeline.
