Abstract

UD. Rizky merupakan home industri di bidang logam kuningan. Salah satu produknya adalah guci kuningan. Pada proses produksinya, guci kuningan harus melewati beberapa proses produksi. Salah satu nya adalah proses perautan. Proses tersebut, dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin sederhana.mesin ini memiliki kelemahan dalam menghasilkan kecepatan yang konstan. Sehingga dibutuhkan rancangan mesin teknologi tepat guna (TTG) untuk mempermudah proses perautan guci kuningan pada industri tersebut. Langkah-langkah dalam perancangan pembuatan mesin perautan produk guci kuningan ini meliputi observasi, konsep desain, perhitungan pada elemen mesin, perakitan alat, dan pengujian alat. Hasil perancangan ini diwujudkan dengan terbentuknya Mesin Perautan Produk Guci Kuningan. Rancangan ini memiliki gaya potong 2,096 N, daya potong 0,008 HP, dengan sistem transmisi berupa pulley bertingkat dengan diameter 38 mm, 55 mm, 73 mm untuk pulley penggerak dan 136 mm,125 mm,103 mm untuk pulley yang digerakkan, menggunakan v-belt type A dengan panjang 1120 mm dan menggunakan diameter poros sebesar 40 mm. ========================================================================================================== UD Rizky is a brass home industry in Bondowoso. One of its product is brass urn. There are several production process in order to produce it. One of the process to produce a brass urn is called turning process. Currently the process is executed by using simple machine. However the machine is lacking in producing constant speed during the turning process. In order to overcome the flaw of it, an appropriate technology (AT) is needed to improve the turning process in brass urn production. The development process of this design includes observation, design concept, machinery elements calculation, assembly, and testing. The final result of this design is to develop a turning machinery for brass urn product of UKM Cindogo Tapen Bondowoso. This machine will have cutting forces of 2,096 N, cutting power of 0,008 HP, with the transmission system in the form of multilevel pulley with a diameter of 38 mm, 55 mm, 73 mm for the drive pulley and 136 mm, 125 mm, 103 mm for the driven pulley, using v-belt type A with a length of 1120 mm and uses the shaft diameter of 40 mm.
