Abstract

Strategi penjadwalan perawatan sistem pendukung motor induk memiliki peran yang sangat penting demi kelangsungan beroperasinya motor induk yang terpasang dikapal. Sistem penunjang motor induk terdiri dari fuel oil system, lubricating oil system, cooling system, dan starting air system. Oleh karena itu apabila terjadi kegagalan pada salah satu sistemnya, kondisi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada motor induk itu sendiri tetapi hal ini juga mempengaruhi operasional kapal. Dengan begitu pentingnya peran dari sistem tersebut, sistem penunjang motor induk tentunya membutuhkan suatu penjadwalan perawatan yang baik sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya kegagalan sistem. Dalam studi ini dianalisa dan diidentifikasi mengenai kegiatan penjadwalan preventive maintenance berdasarkan efek perawatan dengan metode dinamika sistem untuk sistem penunjang motor induk pada kapal. Efek perawatan didasarkan pada availability element komponen sistem pendukung mesin induk kapal. Jadwal perawatan ditentukan dengan mempertimbangkan jadwal operasional kapal sehingga semua kegiatan perawatan akan dilakukan pada saat kapal tidak sedang berlayar atau sandar. Penjadwalan perawatan berdasarkan efek perawatan dimodelkan dengan menggunakan metode dinamika sistem . Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa fuel oil system dilakukan perawatan setiap 714 jam, lubricating oil system

setiap 1125 jam, sea water cooling system setiap 1772 jam, fresh water cooling system setiap 11123 jam. Semua jadwal perawatan ditentukan berdasarkan skenario perbaikan sistem untuk mengurangi biaya perawatan dan dalam rangka untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan sistem.

The strategy of maintenance interval scheduling for main engine support systems has a very important role for continues ship operation. Main engine support system consists of fuel oil system, lubricating oil system, cooling system, and the compressed air system. Therefore, if there is a failure in one system, this condition does not only affect the main engine itself but it is also can affect the operations of the ship. It importants, that main engine support system certainly requires substantial maintenance interval scheduling to prevent the occurrence of system failures. This paper analyzed and identified the scheduling of preventive maintenance activities based on the maintenance effect with the method of system dynamics for the main engine support systems on ships. The maintenance effect is based on the availability of component system components of ship machiney which are installed in main engine support systems of ships. Maintenance interval schedule is determined by considering maintenance effect, so that all maintenance activities will be conducted in condition when the ships is not sailing or docking time. Maintenance interval scheduling based maintenance effects modeled using system dynamics method. The results showed that all maintenance schedules are determined based on the ranking of components and re-evaluation of the system design to reduce maintenance costs and in order to avoid failure of the systems. The results show that the fuel system scheduling every 714 hours, lubricating oil system every 1125 hours, sea water cooling system every 1772 hours, fresh water cooling system every 11.123 hours. All maintenance schedule is determined based on the scenario system improvements to reduce maintenance costs and in order to avoid system failures.
