Abstract

Metode magnetotellurik banyak digunakan dalam eksplorasi panas
bumi, tambang, minyak, dan gas bumi. Pemodelan kondisi bawah permukaan
dengan menggunakan metode magnetotelurik harus dilakukan proses inversi
terlebih dahulu, banyak metode inversi yang digunakan untuk data
magnetotellurik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan
metode inversi 1-D berdasarkan pendekatannya, yaitu pendekatan linier (Occam)
dan pendekatan global (Simulated Annealing). Data yang digunakan merupakan
data non-linier berupa kurva resistivitas semu dan fase terhadap perioda dari hasil
pengolahan data. Metode Occam merupakan metode untuk menyelesaikan
permasalahan non-linier menggunakan pendekatan linier sedangkan metode
Simulated Annealing merupakan metode untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan
non-linier menggunakan pendekatan global, berupa Guided Random Search.
Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan non-linier tersebut dibuat program berbasis
Matlab yang dengan menggunakan algoritma Occam dan Simulated Annealing
sehingga program ini dapat digunakan untuk inversi 1-D dengan kedua metode
tersebut, selain pembuatan program inveri dibuat juga program tambahan yang
berguna mendukung proses inversi sehingga hasil inversi lebih optimum.
Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembuatan program, validasi menggunakan
data sintetik, analisa metode inversi, dan validasi dengan membandingkan hasil
inversi program konvensional (WinGlink). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah
analisa terhadap penampang cross section resistivitas 1-D hasil inversi sehingga
diketahui sebaran resistivitasnya di lapangan X.

Magnetotelluric method common used in geothermal exploration,
mining, oil, and earth gas. Modelling the subsurface conditions by
magnetotelluric data using an inversion process, many inversion methods used
for magnetotelluric data. Therefore, this study was conducted to compare 1-D
inversion method based approach, namely a linear approach (Occam) and the
global approach (Simulated Annealing). The data used is the data in the form of
non-linear curve of apparent resistivity and phase of the period by data
processing. Occam method is a method to solve non-linear problems using a
linear approach while the method of Simulated Annealing is a method to solve
the problems of non-linear using a global approach, in the form of Guided
Random Search. To solve the problems of non-linear was created based program
Matlab algorithms using Occam and Simulated Annealing so that the program
can be used for inversion 1-D with both methods, in addition to making the
inversion program also made additional programs that are useful supports
inversion process so that the inversion more optimum. Stages of this research
program is the manufacture, validation using synthetic data, analysis methods of
inversion, and validation by comparing the results of inversion of conventional
program (WinGlink). Results from this study is cross-sectional analysis of cross
section 1-D resistivity inversion results that are known resistivity distribution in
field X.
