Abstract
Banyuwangi menuju Pelabuhan Benoa, Bali. Secara umum katamaran memiliki beberapa
kelebihan jika dibandingkan dengan kapal monohull. Luas geladak dari katamaran lebih luas
dibandingkan kapal monohull. Stabilitas kapal katamaran lebih baik dibandingkan kapal
monohull.
rencana garis dadan gambar rencana umum. Biaya pembangunan kapal sebesar Rp
24.422.508.434,58. ========== Banyuwangi is located on East Java, which usually called as “Sunrise of Java” because
of its location on the eastern end of Java Island and next to the Bali Island. The Bali
island has many beautiful landscapes and unique cultures and that’s why many tourists
have to choose Bali for vacation. At the end of 2015, PT. Pelindo III (Persero) have to
build Boom Marina Port in Banyuwangi and open new route to Benoa Port in Bali. The
goal of this final project is to design a catamaran vessel which is used to carry
passengers fron Boom Marina Port, Banyuwangi to Benoa Port, Bali. Generally
catamarans have several advantages against the monohull vessels. Spacious deck of the
catamarans wider than monohull vessels. Catamarans have better stability and no need
to use ballast to stabilize the ship. The roll angle of catamarans relatively low (0˚-8˚)
so that increasing comfort and less susceptible to seasickness. In the process of ship
design is use the Parent Design Approach method that use a design of ship that has
good sailing performance as a reference to design. The design process refers to “Austal
48” passenger ship catamarans. This final project is also calculate the techinally and
economically things of the ship design. The main outcome of dimensions of the ship are
Lwl = 44.0 m, B = 11.8 m, H = 3.8 m, T = 1.4 m, B1 = 3.0 m, CB = 0.491 and Vs = 28
knots. From the main dimensions is then created drawing the outline plan and general
plan drawings. Vessel construction costs Rp 24.422.508.434,58.
