Abstract
Gunung Semeru merupakan gunung api aktif di Indonesia,
yang terletak di Kabupaten Lumajang dan Kabupaten Malang,
Jawa Timur. Letusan Gunung Semeru berlangsung singkat dan
relatif kecil, namun bekerja terus menerus setiap 10 sampai 20
menit sekali sepanjang tahun. Letusan tersebut menghasilkan
material berupa abu vulkanik, pasir, dan kerikil. Material hasil
letusan tersebut jika bercampur dengan air hujan maka akan
mengakibatkan terjadinya banjir lahar dingin. Sungai Mujur
merupakan salah satu sungai yang berhulu di Gunung Semeru,
sehingga Sungai Mujur memiliki potensi besar terjadi banjir
lahar dingin. Oleh karena itu, pada Tugas Akhir ini direncanakan
Sabo Dam dengan tujuan sabo dam tersebut mampu menahan
sedimen yang dihasilkan oleh banjir lahar dingin dengan picuan
hujan rencana periode ulang 50 tahun. Pada Tugas Akhir ini
direncanakan sabo dam dengan tipe terbuka (tipe lubang).
Perencanaan sabo dam dilakukan dengan menganalisa
data hidrologi berupa curah hujan yang menghasilkan curah
hujan rencana periode ulang 50 tahun. Curah hujan rencana
tersebut digunakan untuk mendapatkan besar debit banjir
rencana periode ulang 50 tahun. Dalam perhitungan debit banjir
rencana digunakan dua kondisi yaitu kondisi banjir tanpa
sedimen dan kondisi banjir dengan sedimen. Debit banjir dengan
sedimen diperoleh dari debit banjir dikalikan dengan konsentrasi sedimen. Perhitungan tubuh sabo dam yang meliputi
perencanaan main dam, apron dan sub dam dilakukan
berdasarkan debit banjir rencana dengan sedimen periode ulang
50 tahun. Sabo dam direncanakan menggunakan material beton
dengan kemiringan bagian hulu 1:1 sedangkan bagian hilir
dengan kemiringan 1:0.6. Dari hasil analisa didapatkan tinggi
efektif main dam 10.5 m, kedalaman pondasi main dam 2 m serta
volume tampungan total sebesar 321670.6 m3. Perhitungan tubuh
sabo dam tersebut aman terhadap gaya-gaya yang terjadi baik
pada kondisi muka air normal maupun pada kondisi muka air
banjir. ========== Mount Semeru is an active volcano in Indonesia, located
between Lumajang and Malang district. The eruption of Mount
Semeru is in short duration and in low intensity, but works
continuously every 10 to 20 minutes during the year. The eruption
produce materials such as volcanic ash, sand, and gravel. These
material eruption when mixed with water will cause lahar flood.
Mujur River is one of the river which has high potential for lahar
flood. Therefore in this final project is designed sabo dam on the
upstream of Mount Semeru with the aim of sabo dam is able to
withstand the sediment produced by lahar flood with rain design
on return period of 50 years. In this final project is designed
open-type sabo dam.
Design of sabo dam by analyzing hydrological data in the
form of precipitation which resulted in rainfall design on return
period of 50 years. Rainfall design is used to obtain flood
discharge design on return period of 50 years. In the calculation
of flood discharge design used two conditions, flood conditions
without sediment and flood conditions with sediment. The flood
discharge with sediment obtained from sediment concentration
multiplied by flood discharge without sediment. Calculation of
sabo dam body includes design of main dam, apron and sub dam
carried by the flood discharge with sediment design on return
period of 50 years. Sabo dam is designed using concrete material
with the upstream slope of 1: 1 and the downstream slope of 1:0.6. It can be conclude that the effective height of main dam 10.5
m, foundation depth of main dam 2 m, and total storage of sabo
dam is 321670.6 m3. The calculation of main dam stability is save
from the force which occur in flood water level and normal water
level conditions.
