Abstract
PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI (PTPN XI) merupakan salah
satu perusahaan penghasil gula di Indonesia. PTPN XI ingin
menggunakan ERP untuk mendukung proses bisnisnya yaitu
dengan mengimplementasikan SAP. Salah satu proses bisnis di
PTPN XI adalah proses produksi. Dalam melakukan proses
produksi dibutuhkan perencanaan produksi. Perencanaan
produksi pada SAP disebut dengan production planning,
dimana pada modul tersebut juga mencakup perencanaan
jangka panjang dan menengah. Untuk mengimplementasikan
SAP di PTPN XI dibutuhkan persiapan yang matang. Pada
tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai persiapan
impelementasi SAP yaitu dengan melakukan redefinisi proses
bisnis perencanaan produksi jangka panjang dan menengah
terkini menjadi proses bisnis mendatang yang mengacu pada
SAP. Redefinisi dilakukan dengan memodelkan proses bisnis
saat ini (as-is) dan proses bisnis yang akan datang (to-be).
Pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan notasi Eventdriven
Process Chain (EPC). Pemodelan tersebut
menghasilkan dua model proses bisnis yaitu model proses
bisnis as-is dan model proses bisnis to-be. Dari hasil
pemodelan tersebut kemudian dilakukan analisis kesenjangan
untuk mengetahui perubahan dan dampak yang terjadi karena
perubahan proses bisnis. Hasil analisis kesenjangan

menampilkan daftar perubahan berupa perubahan proses,
peningkatan kinerja, perubahan tugas/peran, dan percepatan
proses. Dari perubahan tersebut memberikan dampak yang
dikategorikan menjadi tiga yaitu value linking, value
restructuring, dan value acceleration.

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI (PTPN XI) is one of sugar
companies in Indonesia. PTPN XI wants to use ERP to support
their business processes by implementing SAP. Production is
one of business process in PTPN XI. In the production process
required production planning. Production planning in SAP is
in the production planning module, where the module also
include the long term and medium term planning. PTPN XI
needs to prepare for the implementation of SAP. This final
project will discuss about the preparation of SAP
implementation with redefine the current long term and medium
term of production planning process to the future process refers
to SAP. The redefinition is performed by modelling the current
business process (as-is) and also the future business process
(to-be). The modelling is performed with Event-driven Process
Chain (EPC) notation. The modelling results two models of
those business process, namely as-is business process model
and to-be business process model. Those models are used to
perform gap analysis to find out the changes and impacts from
the changed of business process. The result of the gap analysis
is a list of changes. The changes are about change of process,
performance improvement,s change of duties/roles, and process
acceleration. The impact of the changes are categorized into

three points, those are value linking, value restructuring, and
value acceleration.
