Abstract

Pengaruh alang-alang sebagai media pertumbuhan jamur
tiram terhadap kandungan fitokimia dan antioksidan telah
diteliti. Alang-alang yang digunakan sebagai substrat pada
media pertumbuhan jamur dicampur dengan serbuk gergaji
kayu sengon dengan variasi persen berat 0, 25, 50, 75, 100%
(b/b). Jamur yang sudah ditumbuhkan, kemudian dipanen.
Setelah itu, dianalisis kandungan fitokimia dan antioksidan
yang meliputi uji total fenolat; serta uji inhibisi dengan DPPH
dan ABTS. Komposisi substrat pada media pertumbuhan
jamur mempengaruhi kandungan total senyawa fenolat dan
penghambatan radikal bebas oleh jamur tiram, akan tetapi
tidak berpengaruh pada kandungan fitokimia jamur tiram.
Komposisi dengan kandungan 50% alang-alang memiliki
kandungan total senyawa fenolat tertinggi yaitu
53,9039 ⁄ dan memiliki inhibisi tertinggi yaitu
57,88% (uji DPPH) dan 74,82% (uji ABTS)

The effect of cogongrass as oyster mushroom growth medium
on the contents of phytochemicals and antioxidants had been
investigated. Cogongrass that used as substrate in mushroom
growth medium was mixed with sengon on variations 0, 25,
50, 75, 100% (w/w). Harvested mushrooms were analyzed on
the content of phytochemicals and antioxidants that consisting
of phenolics total test, wich; and test inhibition by DPPH and
ABTS; The composition of substrate on mushroom growth
medium affected the total phenolic compounds and free
radicals inhibition of oyster mushrooms, but no effect on the
phytochemical content. The composition containing 50%
cogongrass had the highest total phenolic compounds about
53,9039 ⁄ and the highest inhibition value of
57,88% (DPPH assays) and 74,82(ABTS assays)
