Abstract
PT Petrokimia Gresik sebagai salah satu produsen pupuk dan bahan kimia
terbesar di Indonesia memiliki potensi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang sangat
penting untuk dikembangkan. Salah satu aspek yang perlu mendapat perhatian
adalah knowledge management. Hal ini karena lebih dari 50% SDM perusahaan
sudah mendekati usia purna tugas. Maka knowledge sharing dari karyawan senior
kepada karyawan muda sangat penting digiatkan untuk menghindari terjadinya
loss of knowledge. Penelitian ini mengambil studi kasus penerapan kegiatan
knowledge sharing di Departemen Produksi II B PT Petrokimia Gresik. Tujuan
yang hendak dicapai antara lain membuat database pengetahuan, mengidentifikasi
critical knowledge, serta merancang konsep kegiatan knowledge sharing dengan
mempertimbangkan tipe knowledge karena selama ini penyelarasan dengan tipe
knowledge belum dilakukan. Database knowledge dibuat berdasarkan job
description masing-masing jabatan di departemen tersebut. Metode penelitian
meliputi penggunaan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan konsep Pareto
untuk menentukan critical knowledge serta Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
untuk menerjemahkan kebutuhan kegiatan knowledge sharing. Fase QFD yang
digunakan yaitu House of Quality (HOQ) dengan critical knowledge sebagai
atribut dan beberapa kebutuhan knowledge sharing sebagai respon teknis. Hasil
dari penelitian ini adalah penyusunan konsep ide untuk masing-masing tipe
knowledge berdasarkan respon teknis yang terpilih. Selanjutnya dilakukan
pengelolaan kegiatan knowledge sharing menggunakan framework Training
Process yang meliputi tahap assessment, design, delivery, dan evaluation. Konsep
ide dan pengelolaan tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan
efisiensi pelaksanaan kegiatan knowledge sharing.

PT Petrokimia Gresik, as one of the biggest fertilizer and chemical manufacturer
in Indonesia,has great potential in its Human Resources (HR) aspect, which is necessary
to be developed. One aspect to be concerned is knowledge management. This is because
more than 50% of the company’s HR was nearing retirement age. Therefore knowledge
sharing from senior employees to junior employees needs to be intensified in order to
avoid the loss of knowledge. Hence, this research took a case study aboutthe
implementation of knowledge sharing activities in Plant II B Production Department PT
Petrokimia Gresik. The goals to be achieved are to create a knowledge database, identify
critical knowledge, as well asdesigning the concept of knowledge sharing activities by
considering the type of knowledge because up until now there are no adjustment and
harmonization made with the type of knowledge. Knowledge database’s making is based
on job description of each position in the department. Research methods to be used in this
study including the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Pareto concept to
determine the critical knowledge and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to translate
the needs of knowledge sharing activities. A QFD phase that will be used in this study is
the House of Quality (HOQ) with critical knowledge as an attribute and some knowledge
sharing needs as technical responses. The result of this study is some concept ideas which
developed for each type of knowledge based on those selected technical responses.
Furthermore, the management of knowledge sharing activities will be done by using the
framework of Training Process which consists of some phases such as assessment,
design, delivery, and evaluation. The concept ideas and management are expected to
improve the effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge sharing activities.
