Abstract
Dengan luas wilayah Indonesia yang sangat luas, kesejahteraan hidup dan pelayanan
kesehatan yang memadai belum didapatkan sebagian besar warga indonesia. Menurut data
Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2008, penduduk miskin di indonesia mencapai 34,96 juta
jiwa dan 63,47 persen % di antaranya adalah masyarakat yang hidup di kawasan pesisir dan
pedesaan. Perlu suatu sarana pelayanan kesehatan yang bisa menjangkau sampai daerahdaerah
terpencil di Indonesia. Disamping masalah tersebut, Indonesia masih kekurangan akan
armada tanggap bencana jika terjadi bencana yang mengakibatkan kerusakan skala besar
seperti gempa bumi dan tsunami. Tugas akhir ini didesain untuk mengatasi permasalahanpermasalahan
yang ada di atas dengan solusi sebuah desain kapal rumah sakit. Ukuran utama
kapal didapatkan dari kebutuhan minimum area dek yang ditempati oleh fasilitas-fasilitas
medis layaknya yang ada di rumah sakit. Fasilitas tersebut antara lain adalah ruang
perawatan, ruang operasi, ruang UDG, ruang ICU, ruang radiologi, poliklinik, apotek dan
ruang otopsi. Adapun ukuran utama yang diperhatikan adalah Lpp, B, H dan T. Hasil dari
tugas akhir ini menghasilkan ukuran utama yaitu; Lwl = 78 m ; Lpp = 75 ; B =13.2 m ; H =
6,2 m ; T = 4,3 m.

Indonesia is a very large country, but most of indonesian people have not receiving human
welfare and good health services yet. According to data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in
2008, poor people in Indonesia reached about 34,96 million person and 63,47 of them are
people who live in coastal areas and village. Most of them difficult to obtaining health care.
So there are a Need a health service facility that could reach up to remote areas in Indonesia.
Another problem in Indonesia is this country lack of a fleet of disaster response when
suddenly a disaster happen like earthquake, tsunami etc. Also when something force majeure
happen like airplane crash or sinking ship. This final project designed to overcome that
problems with a design about hospital ship. Main dimension of ship is obtained from
minimum area requirred of medical facilities like in the hospital in general. That medical
facilities are treatment room, operating room, emergency room, intensive care unit, radiology
room, policlinic, drugstore room and autoption room. From the procces obtained the main
dimension. Main dimension obtained from this final project are ; Lwl = 78 m Lpp = 75 m, B
= 13,2 m, H =6,2 m and T = 4,3 m
