Abstract
========== Tuberculosis is deadly infectious disease. This disease is the second of a number of infectious diseases that entered the top 10 causes of death in Indonesia. To reduce the number of patients with Tuberculosis, in 1994 the Indonesian government has been working with WHO to conduct a course of treatment for patients with tuberculosis.. The program is known as DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Shortcourse). Based on data medical records of patients are obtained factors suspected affect the rate of treatment success of Tuberculosis patients in RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, such as gender, age, disease classification, types of patients, sputum examination results, and the regularity of treatment. Furthermore, with these factors are survival analyzed with Cox proportional hazard regression model to determine the factors that affect the rate of treatment success of Tuberculosis patients. Based on the results of selection models, obtained factors that affect the rate of treatment success of Tuberculosis patients by the regularity of treatment. Tuberculosis patients are regularly treated at risk the success of treatment 3 times greater than patients with irregular treatment.
