Abstract
Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Lapisan Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) telah berhasil dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sifat magnetik dari Barium M-Heksaferit yang didoping dengan ion Zn (Seng).Campuran dari Polianilin dan Barium M-Heksaferit digunakan sebagai Radar Absorbing Material (RAM). Prekursor dari ion besi dapat diperoleh dari maerial alamiah yakni pasir besi dari Tanah Laut Kalimantan Selatan. Dalam penelitian ini lapisan RAM terbuat dari komposit BaM/PANi dimana material BaM disintesis dengan menggunakan metode kopresipitasi. Komposit BaM/PANi yang telah dicampur dengan cat, dilapiskan pada permukaan baja AH36. Dalam penelitian ini variasi yang digunakan yaitu ketebalan lapisan (1 mm; 1,5 mm; 2 mm; 2,5 mm; dan 3 mm). Dari penelitian ini diperoleh material Barium M-Heksaferit yang bersifat hard magnetik dapat tereduksi setelah adanya pendopingan, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai medan koersivitas yang menurun yaitu sebesar 0,25 T. Material PANI dapat dikatakan polimer konduktif dikarenakan PANi memiliki nilai konduktivitas yang paling tinggi yakni sebesar 0,165 s/m. Nilai reflection loss terbesar dihasilkan oleh pelapisan single layer dengan ketebalan 3 mm yaitu sebesar -21,231 dB pada frekuensi 11,5 GHz. Pengaruh ketebalan terhadap nilai reflection loss yaitu semakin tebal lapisan komposit BaM/PANi yang dilapiskan pada plat baja maka akan semakin besar nilai reflection lossnya.

Synthesis and characterization of Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) Layer has been done successfully. The purposes of this research for to identification magnetical properties of Barium M-Hexaferrite which doped Zinc ion. The mixing of Polyanilin and Barium M-Hexaferrite used as Radar Absorbing Material. Precursors of iron ion have got from natural iron science from Tanah Laut South Borneo. In this research RAM layer made from the composite of BaM/PANi, in which the BaM material synthesized used coprecipitation method. Composite of BaM/PANI that was mixed with paint would coating on the surface of Steel plate AH36. In this research used the thickness variation, the variation were 1 mm; 1,5 mm; 2 mm; 2,5 mm; and 3 mm. From this research was obtained Baium M-Hexaferrite that had hard magnetic character could get reduction after had got doping. It could be proven by the result of coercivity field values was decreased in the amount of 0.25 T. PANi material could be said the conductive polymer because PANi had the highest conductivity value which was equal to 0.165 s/m. The value of reflection loss was produced by a single coating layer with the thickness of 3 mm that was equal to -21.231 dB at a frequency of 11.5 GHz. The influence of the thickness of the reflection loss value was the more thicker of the layers of composite BAM / PANi that was superimposed on a steel plate, it would be more than the value of reflection loss.
