Abstract
Secara umum korosi diartikan sebagai suatu proses kerusakan atau keausan
material akibat tetjadi reaksi dengan lingkungan. Dalam sebuah kapal korosi
merupakan suatu masalah yang tidak kecil, karena dapat menurunkan produktivitas
kapal . Salah satu perlindungan badan kapal dari korosi adalah dcngan cara proteksi
katodik. Dalam hal ini proteksi katodik dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu metoda SACP
(Sacr(flc:ial Anodes Cathodic Protection) atau anoda tumbal dan metoda ICCP
(Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) atau a.rus terpasang.
Beberapa hal yang diketjakan dalam tugas akhir ini antara lain adalah melakukan
penghitungan zinc anode yang dibutuhkan serta teknis pemasa.ngannya, penghitungan
biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk penggunaan sistem anoda tumbal maupun sistem ICCP.
ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sisi teknis dan ekonomis dari metode tersebut. Dari
hasil penghitungan tersebut dapat dibandingkan baik dari sisi teknis maupun ekonomis
kedua metode ini .
Sebagai langkah akhir dari tugas akJ1ir ini adalah mencari metoda cathodtc
prorectton paling ekonomis yang dapat digunakan dalam perlindungan korosi pada
badan kapal

Generall y, corrosion is the desrucrive attack of a material with its environment.
In a ship corrosion not little problem, cause can be reduce the productivity. One
solution of the corrosion prevent ship's hull by cathodic protection methode. The kind
of cathodic protection is SACP methode (Sacrificial Anodes Cathodic Protection) and
ICCP methode (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection).
Some case will be done in the final project, that's estimation zinc anodes needs
with its construction, to know economy and technical SACP and ICCP methode.
That's all compare both.
For the last step of this final project is get the most economy cathodic
protection methode can be use to corrosion protection.
