Abstract

PT. PERTAMINA mendapat tantangan dari pemerintah
untuk menutup kebutuhan konsumen yang semakin meningkat
dengan membangun kilang minyak di empat daerah di Indonesia,
salah satunya berada di Bontang, Kalimantan Timur. Proyek ini
berkapasitas 300 barel per hari dengan pembangunan dua jetty
yaitu Jetty 1 berupa Oil Jetty 17.500 DWT dan LPG Jetty 5.000
DWT serta Jetty 2 berupa Bulk Carier 10.000 DWT dan Cargo
Jety 6.800 DWT.
Analisa perencanaan yang ditinjau adalah perencanaan
causeway sepanjang 402 m pada Jetty 2 yang pada perencanaan
sebelumnya digunakan tinggi timbunan sebesar 4.25 m dan lebar
17 m. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibuat modifikasi dimana
sepanjang 186 m di sisi darat Jetty 2 direncanakan dengan
timbunan, sedangkan sisanya sepanjang 216 m digunakan struktur
trestle.
Diperlukan perencanaan tinggi timbunan awal yang
meninjau pemampatan, perbaikan lereng causeway, perencanaan
daya dukung serta jumlah pondasi yang digunakan, stabilitas
pertemuan antara sisi darat (causeway) dan sisi laut (trestle), dan
volume serta biaya yang dibutuhkan.
Dari hasil analisa timbunan dengan elevasi akhir + 4.25 m
LWS diperoleh elevasi Hinisial yang dibagi menjadi 6 zona

berdasarkan elevasi seabed dengan masing-masing Hinisial yaitu
5.96 m, 4.94m, 4.05 m, 3.26 m, 2.65 m dan 1.71 m. Pemampatan
sangat kecil, untuk itu tidak memerlukan PVD dengan waktu
pemampatan 3 tahun. Pengoperasian causeway ini tidak
menunggu pemampatan selesai, sehingga perlu pekerjaan overlay
pada saat operasional. Lereng timbunan tidak memiliki SF lebih
dari 1.2 sehingga tidak memerlukan perkuatan, namun
memerlukan perbaikan berupa Geotextile UNW-150 dan batu kali
untuk melindungi causeway dari gelombang laut. Perencanaan
pondasi pada sisi laut menggunakan tiang pancang D1016 dengan
panjang 6 meter dengan dilapisi PE dan 20 m tidak dilapisi PE.
Biaya perencanaan causeway sebesar Rp. 3.791.959.000,-,
sedangkan perencanaan causeway-trestle sebesar Rp.
14.591.000.000,-.

PT. Pertamina has been challenged by the government to
cover the increasing needs of consumers by building an oil
refinery in four regions in Indonesia , one of which is located in
Bontang , East Kalimantan. This project has a capacity of 300
barrels per day by the construction of two jetties. They are Jetty 1
for Oil Jetty (17,500 dwt) and LPG Jetty (5,000 dwt) and Jetty 2
for Bulk Cargo Carrier (10,000 DWT) and Cargo Jetty (6,800
DWT).
The planning analysis viewed is the causeway planning
along 402m at Jetty 2 which on planning previously used height
of the pile 4.25m and width 17m. In this final project, we conduct
modifications which is Jetty 2 is planned by giving heap along
186m on the land side. While the remaining, 216m, for trestle
structure. The height planning of the first heap that reviews
compression, the causeway slope repair, carrying capacity
planning, the number of foundation used, the stability of the
encounter between the land side (causeway) and the sea side
(trestle), and the volume and cost required is needed.
From the analysis of the heap with a final elevation
+4.25m LWS, we obtain Hinisial elevation which is divided into
six zones based on seabed elevation which each Hinisial is 5.96m,
4.94m, 4.05m, 3.26m, 2.65m and 1.71m. the compression is very
small, therefore it does not require PVD which has compression

time for 3 years. Operation of causeway do not hold on the
compression until completed, so that it needs overlay operation at
the time of operation. The heap slopes does not have SF more
than 1.2 so that it does not require retrofitting, but require
improvement in the form of Geotextile UNW-150 and river stone
protect the causeway from ocean waves. Design of foundations
on the sea side uses piles D1016 with a length 6m coated PE and
20m uncoated PE. The causeway planning costs is Rp. 3.792
billion,- ,while the causeway-trestle planning costs is Rp. 14.591
billion,-.
