Abstract
Senyawa fenolat diterpenoid, nimbiol (1), dan senyawa glikosida terpenoid, β-sitosterol-3-O-glikosida (2) telah berhasil diisolasi dari ekstrak metanol kulit
batang Azadirachta indica. Kedua senyawa tersebut difraksinasi menggunakan metode kromatografi cair vakum (KCV) dan dielusidasi struktur meggunakan spektroskopi infra merah dan Nuclear MagneticResonance. Ekstrak metanol dan
nimbiol (1) memiliki aktivitas inhibisi terhadap enzim α-glukosidase yang lebih lemah dibandingkan akarbosa (48), sedangkan senyawa (2) bersifat tidak aktif. ========== A diterpenoid phenolic, nimbiol (1), and a terpenoid glycoside, β-sitosterol-
3-O-glycoside (2) had been isolated from methanol extract of Azadirachta indica
stem bark. The two compounds were obtained by fractionation using vacuum
liquid chromatography methode and the structures were elucidated by Infra Red
and Nuclear Magnetig Resonance spectroscopy. Methanol extract and nimbiol (1)
has lower inhibition activity of α-glycosidase enzyme compare with acarbose
(48), meanwhile compound (2) was inactive.
