Abstract
Kabupaten Gresik merupakan salah satu kabupaten di wilayah Propinsi Jawa
Timur dengan potensi pariwisata yang cukup beragam. Namun dalam hal
pengembangan pariwisatanya, Pemerintah Kabupaten Gresik mengalami beberapa
kesulitan terkait kondisi alam, aksesbilitas dan infrastruktur. Dalam hal ini , kawasan
pesisir yang terletak di Pulau Gili Timur Bawean Gresik merupakan objek wisata
andalan masyarakat lokal gresik dan sekitarnya , masalah yang ada di Pulau Gili
Timur Bawean seperti konteks lokasi, alam dan konteks budaya. Dengan potensi dan
masalah yang ada,maka muncul gagasan untuk pengembangan kawasan pesisir di
Pulau Gili Timur Bawean yang memperhatikan kelestarian alam dan lingkungannya.
Pengembangan objek wisata dan tersedianya fasilitas penginapan yang berorientasi
privat tersebut ditujukan sebagai salah satu andalan yang dapat memberikan
pengalaman bersifat longterm memory serta mampu memberikan kenyamanan bagi
wisatawan. Pada proses perencanaan maupun perancangan resort menggunakan
metode desain problem solving process oleh George Polya. ========== Gresik is one of regencies in East java with potential tourism that quite
variety. But in its tourism development, the government of gresik has some problems
with the nature condition, accessibility and infrastructure . In this case, coastal area
located in bawean east gili island gresik is the famous tourism destination for the local
people and other, the problem in bawean east gili island such as the location context,
nature and also the cultural context. With this opportunity and problem that it has ,
there is an idea to develop the coastal area in bawean east gili island that consider the
natural sustainability and environment . The tourism object development and the
private oriented inn facility will be the main purpose that can give long term memory
experience also pleasure for the tourists. In the planning process and designing ,the
resort using the problem solving process as the design method by George Pena.
