Abstract
Multilevel Inverter merupakan jenis dc-ac inverter yang dapat
menaikkan dan menurunkan tegangan output. Prinsip kerja multilevel
inverter multistring ini sama dengan multilevel inverter konvensional
akan tetapi memiliki keuntungan yaitu output tegangan yang lebih baik,
penyaringan yang lebih kecil, mengurangi gangguan elektromagnetik,
dan THD (total Harmonic Distortion).
Pada tugas akhir ini dibahas desain dan simulasi multilevel
inverter multistring dengan menggunakan 6 switch. Simulasi yang
dilakukan pada tugas akhir ini adalah penerapan multilevel yang diberi
beban statis (resistif) dan sumber bervariasi seperti Photovoltaic (PV)
dan Baterai bidirectional. dari hasil simulasi diamati karakteristik
tegangan output pada multilevel inverter multistring tersebut sehingga
dapat ditentukan keuntungan menggunakan rangkaian tersebut.

Multilevel Inverter is a dc-ac inverter which can increase the
output voltage.the principal of this multilevel inverter same as multilevel
inverter conventional. However, it has an advantage in which its
output voltage ratio is higher, filter minimalize, reduce harmonic
distortion..
At this final project, design and simulation of the multilevel
inverter with six transistor. This final project’s simulation is an
application of the multilevel inverter with static load (resistif) sources
equipped with photovoltaic (PV) and battery bidirectional. The output
voltage’s characteristic of those inverter are observed from the
simulation. Hence, it can be determined type of multilevel inverter are
more advantage.
