Abstract
Peningkatan pencemaran lingkungan yang terjadi di Kota
Surabaya berakibat pada menurunnya kualitas lingkungan. Salah
apabila kegiatan usaha berpindah lokasi.
Tahapan perencanaan dalam mendesain IPAL portable ini
meliputi pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, penghitungan
dimensi unit IPAL portable, penggambaran DED, serta
penghitungan anggaran biaya masing-masing unit IPAL portable.
Desain IPAL portable dalam perencanaan ini terdiri dari 2
alternatif desain. DED IPAL portable alternatif 1 dengan unit septic
tank, anaerobic biofilter, dan bak penampung memiliki luas lahan
sebesar 2 m x 2,4 m x 1,5 m dengan jumlah kompartemen biofilter
sebanyak 12 buah. Kualitas effluen yang dihasilkan dari IPAL
portable alternatif 1 meliputi nilai BOD 13 mg/L, COD 34,43 mg/L,
dan TSS 11, 03 mg/L. DED IPAL portable alternatif 2 dengan unit
unit septic tank, aerobic biofilter, dan bak penampung memiliki luas
lahan sebesar 1,9 m x 2 m x 1,5 m dengan jumlah kompartemen
biofilter sebanyak 14 buah. Kualitas effluen yang dihasilkan IPAL
portable alternatif 2 meliputi nilai BOD 13 mg/L, COD 34,9 mg/L,
dan TSS 11, 03 mg/L. Anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk
ii
membangun IPAL portable alternatif 1 adalah Rp. 22.800.000 dan
IPAL portable alternatif 2 adalah Rp. 25.100.000. ========== One of the causes of the decreasing of environment quality
in Surabaya is due to pollution. One of the pollution problems
comes from industries in Surabaya which do not have any
wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) yet, such as bakery industry.
A WWTP in bakery industries can not be installed since most of the
bakery industries rent an area for their workplace. Moreover, they
need an investment for building a WWTP. Therefore, a flexible and
portable design of WWTP is needed to answer the challenge in
such conditions. This final work will design a portable WWTP for
obtaining solution of this problem.
The steps of the design are collecting primary and
secondary data, literature study, calculating the dimension,
drawing the plant, and estimating the budget for building the
portable WWTP.
There will be 2 alternaives of the portable WWTP. The first
one consists of a septic tank and an anaerobic biofilter with 12
compartments, and an effluent tank. The total area needed for the
plant is 2 m x 2.4 m x 1.5 m. The quality of the effluent of the WWTP
is BOD 13.11 mg/L, COD 34.43 mg/L, and TSS 11.03 mg/L. The
second alternative has a septic tank and an aerobic biofilter with
14 compartments, and an effluent tank. The area needed for the
plant is 1.9 m x 2 m x 1.5 m. The quality of the effluent from the
WWTP is BOD 13.4 mg/L, COD 34.9 mg/L, and TSS 11.03 mg/L.
iv
The budget needed for building the 1st and 2nd alternatives of
WWTP is IDR 22,800,000.00 and IDR 25,100,000.00, respectively.
