Abstract
menemukan nilai QoS terbaik.

Multimedia Streaming that increasingly more and more used by internet
users led to overcrowding on the network the internet. Generally, Drop-
Tail Queue Management algorithm used to set the system queues in the
buffer in the case of streaming multimedia. These are the causes a pretty
significant distortion. Active Queue Management (AQM) is a method of
regulating the entry of data packets into a buffer as a queue system in
computer networks. In this final task, AQM is used as a solution to
regulate the length of the queue and the time delay in the buffer, which is
where the data packets. In a buffer, the system queues the data package
processing will be subject to bring up a virtual queue as a media
processing while in the buffer. The research carried out using scenarios
from multimedia stream which has been modeled into mathematical
models and then compare Quality-of-Service (QoS) in the form of
average waiting time in the system and packet-loss value of AQM with
Drop-Tail algorithm to find the best QoS values. The result concluse that
system with AQM is better than system with Drop-Tail algorithm, proof
with number of packet-loss less than 15% and faster delay
