Abstract

Nannochloropsis sp. merupakan salah satu spesies yang sangat menjanjikan untuk dikembangkan di zaman sekarang. Nannochloropsis sp. mememiliki kandungan lipid yang cukup tinggi yaitu antara 31-68% berat kering. Pada penelitian ini iradiasi sinar Gamma dilakukan dengan variasi dosis yaitu 0,2,4,6,10 Gy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perlakuan tersebut terhadap biomassa, kandungan lipid total dan kandungan asam lemak dari mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp. Pengukuran biomassa dan kandungan lipid total dilakukan pada akhir fase eksponensial akhir pada kurva pertumbuhan masing-masing perlakuan. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa data deskriptif dan statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan iradiasi sinar Gamma terbukti berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan biomassa, kandungan total lipid dan profil asam lemak dari mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp dan dosis yang paling optimal yang dapat digunakan adalah 6 dan 10Gy. Mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp. yang diiradiasi dengan dosis 10 Gy memiliki kandungan 9 jenis asam lemak dan mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp. yang tidak diiradiasi memiliki kandungan 6 jenis asam lemak
============================================================================== Nannochloropsis sp. has been identified as a promising feed stock for biodiesel production in recent years. Nannochloropsis sp. having lipid content high enough between 31-68 % heavy dry. Besides microalgae is readily adapt and having the time of rapid growth. In this research, Irradiation was doing in different doses, including 0,2,4,6,10 Gy is choosen as a method to know the effect of this method on dry biomass, total lipid content and fatty acid profile of microalgae Nannochlorpsis sp. Measuring content of biomass and lipids are performed on the final phase of the exponential growth at the end of each of the treatment. Data analys that used for this research are descriptive and statistic. Besed on the research that has been done, irradiated Gamma rays proven widening opportunities for bimass and the total lipid of mikroalgae Nannochloropsis sp. and the most opotimal doses that can use to irradiated is 6 and 10Gy. Mikroalgae Nannochloropsis sp. that is irradiated with dosage 10Gy having 9 content kind of fatty acid and mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp. that do not irradiated having the womb six categories of fatty acid
