Abstract

Isu utama dampak perubahan iklim dan pemanasan global adalah kenaikan muka air laut. Dampak perubahan iklim terhadap aspek kelautan dapat terjadi secara langsung dan tidak langsung, baik dalam jangka waktu pendek maupun pada masa yang panjang. Berbagai dampak yang dapat terjadi akibat kenaikan muka air laut di wilayah pesisir yaitu membanjiri kawasan pesisir, merusak fungsi sarana dan prasarana lingkungan pesisir. Diperlukan upaya mitigasi dan adaptasi untuk mengurangi resiko dampak perubahan iklim berdasarkan kenaikan muka air laut di wilayah pesisir Gresik. Analisa penelitian untuk menyusun upaya mitigasi dan adaptasi perubahan iklim di wilayah pesisir Gresik yaitu (1) menghitung kenaikan tinggi muka air laut berdasarkan proyeksi data time series nilai pasang – surut muka air laut, (2) melakukan pemetaan wilayah genangan yang terpengaruh dampak perubahan iklim dengan menggunakan SIG, (3) menentukan nilai ekonomi lahan tergenang di wilayah pesisir Gresik, (4) merencanakan upaya mitigasi dan adaptasi perubahan iklim di Wilayah Pesisir Gresik. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebaran wilayah rentan terdampak kenaikan muka air laut berdasarkan luasan wilayah tergenang paling besar terdapat pada Kecamatan Ujungpangkah, Kecamatan Bungah, dan Kecamatan Manyar. Dampak ekonomi paling tinggi terjadi pada penggunaan lahan perikanan tambak. Nilai ekonomi lahan tambak yang rentan sebesar Rp 351.573.000.000,00. Upaya mitigasi dengan mengembangkan kawasan hutan kota dengan pemilihan vegetasi yang mampu menyerap emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) secara optimal. Strategi adaptasi untuk mengantisipasi kenaikan muka air laut adalah dengan membangun green belt mangrove kerapatan vegetasi 25-100 meter di pesisir pantai, tanggul penahan ombak di kawasan perikanan tambak, pembuatan peta kerentanan wilayah dan meletakkan konstruksi baru ke daerah yang aman dari genangan air laut.

The main issue of the impact of climate change and global warming is rising sea levels. The impact of climate change on the marine aspects can be direct and indirect, in both the short term and in the long term. Various impacts that may occur as a result of sea level rise in coastal areas that flooded coastal areas, damaging the function of the coastal environment infrastructure. Mitigation and adaptation efforts are needed to reduce the risk of climate change impacts by sea level rise in coastal areas Gresik. Analysis of the research to formulate mitigation and adaptation to climate change in coastal areas Gresik: (1) calculate the rise in sea level based on the projection of time series data value pairs-at low tide the sea level, (2) mapping floodplains are affected by climate change using GIS, (3) determine the economic value of land was inundated in the coastal region of Gresik, (4) planned mitigation and adaptation of climate change in the coastal area of Gresik. The result showed the distribution of vulnerable areas affected by sea level rise most inundated are in District Ujungpangkah, District Bungah and District Manyar. The highest economic impact is in the land use of fishing pond. The economic value of the land affected is Rp 351.573.000.000,00. Mitigation efforts by developing an urban forest area with the selection of vegetation that is able to absorb the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) optimally. Adaptation strategies in anticipation of rising sea levels is to build a green belt of vegetation density of 25-100 meters in the coastal area, building a breakwater embankment in the area of fishery ponds, creating a map of vulnerability region and building new construction to areas that are not vulnerable.
