Abstract

Turbin gas merpakan suatu instalasi yang dapat menghasilkan kerja, turboprop merupakan aplikasi dari turbin gas yang digunakan sebagai penggerak pesawat terbang. Kesiapan instalasi tersebut terlihat dari hasil pemantauan kerja mesin itu sendiri, oleh Karena itu diperlukan suatu analisa untuk mengetahui kerja turbin gas sebagai mesin penggerak pesawat terbang. Pada tugas akhir ini analisa unjuk kerja dilakukan secara termodinamika dengan metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa kinerja berdasarkan variasi ketinggian pesawat terbang adalah analisis dengan mengabaikan kerugian, seperti kerugian gesekan antara fluida kerja dan peralatan. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan bahwa efisiensi propulsi tertinggi terdapat pada ketinggian pesawat terbang 0 meter sebesar 26,90620751 % dengan thrust 2396,314387 N dan effective power 741367,5001 Watt. efisiensi propulsi terendah terdapat pada ketinggian pesawat terbang 7620 meter sebesar 18,6121461 % dengan thrust 2384,140979 N dan effective power 472225,3136 Watt.

A gas turbine is an installation that can produce work, turboprop is an application of a gas turbine that is used as an aircraft driver. The readiness of the installation can be seen from the results of monitoring the work of the engine itself, therefore analysis is needed to find out the work of the gas turbine as an aircraft engine. In this final project, the performance analysis performed by thermodynamics with the method used to analyze performance based on aircraft height variations is analysis by ignoring losses, such as friction losses between working fluid and equipment. From the calculation results, it was found that the highest propulsion efficiency was found at the height of aircraft 0 meter by 26.90620751% with thrust 2396,314387 N and effective power 741367,5001 Watt. The lowest propulsion efficiency was found in the altitude of the 7620 meter aircraft at 18.6121461% with thrust 2384,140979 N and effective power 472225,3136 Watt.
