Abstract

Salah satu strategi bisnis yang dapat dilakukan untuk
mewujudkan tujuan dan cita – cita perusahaan melalui bantuan
teknologi informasi adalah dengan melakukan perencanaan
sumber daya perusahaan atau Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP). ERP menawarkan banyak manfaat dan keuntungan bagi
perusahaan. Namun, tidak semua implementasi ERP dapat
berjalan dengan lancar karena kesuksesan implementasi ERP
dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor, yaitu faktor manusia, teknologi
dan budaya organisasi. Salah satu sistem ERP yang banyak
digunakan oleh perusahaan di Indonesia adalah SAP. SAP
dilengkapi oleh banyak modul yang mendukung efisiensi dan
efektifitas proses bisnis suatu perusahaan. PT. Perkebunan
Nusantara XI sebagai salah satu badan usaha milik negara
(BUMN) yang bergerak di sektor industri pengelolaan gula
sebagai komoditas utama menginginkan suatu implementasi
Sistem ERP berdasarkan best practice SAP yang dapat
membantu proses bisnis di bidang pengelolaan logistik, yaitu
pengelolaan penyimpanan bahan baku dan barang jadi
meliputi gula dan tetes di gudang. Saat ini, pencatatan jumlah
bahan baku dan barang jadi di gudang PT. Perkebunan
Nusantara masih dilakukan secara manual dan belum
terintegrasi sehingga dapat memicu adanya penumpukan dan
ketidakjelasan informasi terkait stok barang di gudang.

Hasil penelitian berupa redefinsi menunjukkan bahwa
terdapat 7 proses bisnis pengelolaan gudang berdasarkan
warehouse management SAP best practice yang dapat
diredefinisikan dari 15 proses pengelolaan gudang yang ada
saat ini. Adapun yang dilakukan dalam redefinisi proses bisnis
warehouse management, yaitu identifikasi proses,pemodelan
proses dan membandingkan pemodelan proses bisnis
warehouse management pengelolaan gudang terkini
perusahaan (As-Is) dengan proses bisnis berdasarkan SAP best
practice (To-Be) menggunakan analisis kesenjangan (gap).
Pengintegrasian ketujuh proses bisnis hasil redefinisi tersebut
membawa dampak perubahan positif berupa kemudahan
pelacakan persediaan barang yang masuk, tersimpan hingga
keluar dari gudang dengan adanya aliran dokumen yang
terintegrasi antar modul di SAP, peningkatan efisiensi waktu
kerja karyawan dalam merekapitulasi data-data penerimaan
dan pengeluaran barang, peningkatan ketepatan informasi
terkait stok barang di gudang hingga penghematan biaya cetak
kertas untuk catatan persediaan di gudang. Terdapat pula
dampak negatif yang muncul seperti timbulnya restrukturisasi
peran dan tanggung jawab serta adanya penambahan biaya
langsung untuk pengaturan penyimpanan barang di gudang

One of the business strategy that can be done to reach the
company goals through information technology is by designing
Enterprise Resource Planning or common called ERP. There
are so many benefits that ERP offers for the company but it’s
not an easy thing to run ERP implementation smoothly. It’s
because there are three factors that influeced the successful
ERP implementation such as human factor, technology and the
organization’s culture itself. One of the ERP systems that
common used by the company is SAP. SAP is an ERP system
that have some supporting modules which can increasing
efficiency and effectiveness of the business process in company.
PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI as a state-owned enterprises
(SOEs) are engaged in the sugar industry as the mainstay want
an ERP system implementation based on SAP as the best
practices. PTPN XI wants an ERP system that can help the
logistics management business processes in managing storage
of raw materials and finished goods (sugar and molasses) in the
warehouse. So far, the goods and material stock that stored in
warehouse is still recorded manually and not systematically
integrated by the warehouse officer. That unintegrated stock
recording could lead an disinformation and trigger the
overstock of goods stored in warehouse.
The result of this research shows there are seven from
fifteen business processes of warehouse management that could

be redefined. Redefinition of business process is an
identification, modelling and differentiating process of the
current warehouse management business process (As-Is) to
redefined business process based on SAP best practice (To-Be)
with doing a gap analysis. Integration between the seven
business process gives both positive and negative impact to the
company business value. The positive impacts such as ease of
inventory tracking, efficiency in work time, accuracy in stock
information and also cost reduction in paper consumption.
Otherwise, the negative impact of the redefinition of warehouse
management business process are need in job and process
restructuring until additional direct cost in warehouse storage
configuration.
