Abstract
Switching circuit breaker akan menyebabkan fenomena transient recovery voltage yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja dari stabilitas sistem kelistrikan. Operasi pensaklaran akan menghasilkan gejala surja hubung yang merambat pada saluran transmisi yang akan dipantulkan dan diteruskan jika bertemu saluran transmisi dengan nilai impedansi surja yang berbeda. Nilai dari gelombang berjalan diperoleh dari tegangan sistem yang dipantulkan oleh impedansi saluran beban dan impedansi circuit breaker yang ditanahkan karena proses switching. Penghitungan gelombang berjalan dilakukan secara terus-menerus hingga tegangan pada saluran transmisi bernilai nol. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka akan dilakukan analisis nilai tegangan puncak transient recovery voltage menggunakan nilai tegangan puncak gelombang berjalan untuk mengetahui karakteristik transient recovery voltage yang terjadi pada proses switching circuit breaker menurut pendekatan dari gelombang berjalan yang ditimbulkan saat terjadi gangguan pada sistem. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah besarnya nilai tegangan puncak transient recovery voltage lebih dari 267 % dari nilai tegangan puncak gelombang berjalan pada fasa yang sama dan nilai tegangan puncak gelombang berjalan pada tiap-tiap fasa tidak selalu merepresentasikan nilai tegangan puncak transient recovery voltage pada fasa yang sama. =================================================================================================================================
Switching circuit breaker causing transient recovery voltage phenomena which can affect the performance of electrical system. Switching operation will produce a connecting surge which propagates on the transmission line and will be reflected and continued if encounter a transmission line with different surge impedances value. The value of traveling wave is obtained from system voltage reflection by the load line impedance and circuit breaker impedance that it grounded because of switching process. Calculation of traveling waves is carried out continuously until the voltage on the transmission line is zero. From these problems, peak value voltage of transient recovery voltage will be analyze using peak value voltage of traveling wave to determine the transient recovery voltage characteristics that happened on switching of circuit breaker which it caused when a disturbance in the system. The result of this final project is peak voltage value of transient recovery voltage more than 267% of peak voltage value of traveling wave at the same phase and peak voltage value of traveling wave in each phase doesn’t always represent peak voltage value of transient recovery voltage in the same phase.
