Abstract

The Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) is a guideline for the development of Indonesia’s electricity system for certain pusposes, such as : achieving access and increasing electricity quality, increasing the national electrification ratio, increasing electricity supply and others. With the electricity system development plan, an analysis is needed to determine the feasibility system. This final project will discuss the 500 kV Kalimantan electricity system that connects west Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan by discussing the load in Sabah / interconnection with Sabah by using modal analysis method to obtain eigenvalue. Eigenvalue values can be analyzed which factors can cause system instability. A stable eigenvalue is obtained on the Kalimantan electricity system and is declared feasible in term of small signal stability.
