Abstract

Banyak faktor yang dapat membuat proyek terlambat, misalnya faktor cuaca yang membuat tidak mungkin untuk melakukan pekerjaan atau faktor kurangnya utilitas dan peralatan konstruksi, keterlambatan pembelian pesanan material, kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang berpengalaman dan terampil di lapangan, terlambat biaya turun untuk pembelian kegiatan pada proyek. Selain itu, terjadinya keterlambatan dalam kegiatan kritis karena kegiatan kritis memiliki dampak besar pada durasi proyek. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa dengan mencari kegiatan yang merupakan kegiatan kritis pada proyek dan faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam proyek pemasangan pipa baru ini karena dapat membahayakan pemilik dan kontraktor. Penelitian ini akan membahas penentuan jalur kritis, penentuan akar penyebab atau faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan, risiko keterlamabatan, dan perbaikan apa yang dapat dilakukan dalam menjaga ketepatan waktu proyek pergantian pipa baru PT. X. Ada 4 indikasi keterlambatan dalam pekerjaan proyek. Indikasi keterlambatan terjadi pada Juni 2018, September 2018, dan Oktober 2018. Penyimpangan terbesar antara nilai yang direncanakan dan nilai yang diperoleh terjadi pada Oktober 2018, yaitu 5,05%. Penelitian ini menggunakan six sigma analysis, critical path, fault tree analysis dan event tree analysis. Hasil dari metode critical path akan menentukan kegiatan proyek kritis. Hasil fault tree analysis akan mendapatkan angka probabilitas untuk top event keterlambatan proyek. Hasil event tree analysis akan mendapatkan tingkat risiko masing-masing faktor yang menyebabkan keterlambatan. Hasil six sigma analysis akan mendapatkan akar permasalahan, angka sigma, dan tindakan korektif apa yang diambil.

Many factors could make a project late, for example hurricane, one of weather factors that make it impossible to do work or factors like lack of utilities and construction equipment, delays in purchasing material orders, lack of experienced and skilled human resources in the field, late costs down to purchase activities on the project. In addition, there are delays in critical activities because critical activities have a large impact on the duration of the project. Therefore it is necessary to do an analysis by looking for activities that are critical to the project and factors that can cause delays in the new pipeline project because it can endanger the owners and contractors. This study will discuss the determination of the critical path, the determination of the root causes or factors that can cause delays, the risk of over time, and what improvements can be made in maintaining the timeliness of the new pipeline replacement project by company X. There are 4 indications of delay in this project work. Indications of delay occurred in June 2018, September 2018, and October 2018. The biggest deviation between the planned value and the earned value occurred in October 2018, which was 5.05%. This study uses six sigma analysis, critical path, fault tree analysis and event tree analysis. The results of the critical path method will determine the critical project activities. The results of fault tree analysis will get the probability value for the top event of the project delay. The results of the event tree analysis will get the risk level of each factor that causes delays. Six sigma results will get to the root of the problem, the number of sigma, and what corrective action is taken.
