Abstract
Usia pertama melahirkan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap hidup seorang wanita karena keibuan melibatkan komitmen besar dengan waktu dan sumber daya serta cenderung mengatur tahap dimana peran lain. Usia pertama kali melahirkan juga mempengaruhi lingkungan tempat anak-anak tumbuh dan perkembangan intelektual mereka. Setiap wanita yang pertama kali melahirkan memiliki kemungkinan mengalami gangguan psikologis seperti kecemasan dan ketakutan berlebihan selama proses persalinan bahkan depresi pasca melahirkan. Mengingat pentingnya dan kemungkinan luasnya konsekuensi dari usia pertama melahirkan bagi seorang wanita, penelitian ini yaitu determinan usia pertama melahirkan yang dapat diketahui dari analisis faktor-faktor yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap usia pertama melahirkan dengan pendekatan analisis ketahanan hidup (survival). Analisis survival yang dapat dilakukan adalah Regresi Cox Proportional Hazard, tetapi dalam penelitian ini asumsi Proportional Hazard tidak terpenuhi sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan model Cox Extended. Pemodelan menggunakan Regresi Cox Extended menghasilkan kombinasi fungsi waktu Ln(T) dan Heavyside sebagai kombinasi waktu terbaik. Faktor usia kawin pertama dan pendidikan merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap usia pertama melahirkan dari wanita usia subur di Jawa Timur.

Timing of first childbirth significantly influences a woman's life because motherhood involves a large commitment with time, resources, and tends to regulate the stage at which other. The timing of first childbirth birth also influences the environment where children grow and their intellectual develope. Every woman whose first childbirth has the possibility of experiencing psychological disorders such as anxiety and excessive fear during labor and even postpartum depression. Given the importance and possible extent of the consequences of the timing of childbirth for a woman, this study is a determinant factors of the timing of the childbirth which can be known from the analysis of some factors thought to influence the timing childbirth using a survival analysis approach. Survival analysis that can be used is Cox Proportional Hazard Regression, but in this study the assumptions of Proportional Hazard are not fulfilled so this study uses the Cox Extended model. Modeling using Extended Cox Regression produces a combination of the Ln(T) and Heavyside time functions as the best combination of time functions. Factors of age at first marriage and education are factors that significantly influence the timing of first childbirth among woman of childbearing age in East Java.
