Abstract

PT Semen “X” merupakan Badan Usaha yang bergerak pada bidang pembuatan semen. Secara umum, kualitas semen ditentukan oleh kuat tekan semen yang diukur pada hari ke-3, ke-7 dan ke-28. Sementara itu, kuat tekan semen dipengaruhi oleh beberapa variabel yang merupakan komposisi kimia dan sifat fisika dari semen, diantaranya: SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, SO3, C3S, C2S, C3A, C4AF, FCaO, LOI, R45, dan Blaine. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan analisis faktor untuk mengetahui variabel yang berpengaruh secara dominan terhadap kuat tekan semen dan diperoleh variabel Al2O3, Fe2O3, C3A, LOI, dan Blaine. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengendalian variabilitas proses menggunakan diagram kendali MEWMC based on Regression Adjusted Variables. Terdapat dua skenario dalam penelitian ini. Skenario pertama untuk diagram kendali MEWMC based on Regression Adjusted pada variabel hasil analisis faktor dan skenario kedua untuk diagram kendali MEWMC based on Regression Adjusted pada seluruh variabel. Pada kedua skenario didapatkan nilai pembobot optimum yang sama yaitu lamda = 0,1, dan didapatkan hasil bahwa telah terkendali secara statistik atau tidak terjadi pergeseran proses.

PT Semen "X" is a business entity that is engaged in manufacturing cement. In general, the quality of cement is determined by the compressive strength of cement measured on the 3rd, 7th and 28th days. Meanwhile, the compressive strength of cement is influenced by several variables which are the chemical composition and physical properties of cement, including: SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, SO3, C3S, C2S, C3A, C4AF, FCaO, LOI, R45, and Blaine . In this research, factor analysis is used to determine the variables that have a dominant influence on the compressive strength of cement and the variables Al2O3, Fe2O3, C3A, LOI, and Blaine are obtained. Next, process variability is controlled using a MEWMC control chart based on Regression Adjusted Variables. There are two scenarios in this final project. The first scenario for the MEWMC control chart based on Regression Adjusted on the variable of the result of factor analysis and the second scenario for the MEWMC control chart based on Regression Adjusted on all variables. In both scenarios have the same optimum weighting value is lamda = 0.1 and the results show that there has been controlled statistically or no process shift occurs.
