Abstract

Kelembaban tanah merupakan salah satu faktor dari tumbuh kembang tanaman, dimana pertumbuhan tanaman ini memerlukan tingkat kelembaban tanah tertentu agar dapat berkembang dengan baik. Nilai kelembaban tanah yang umum bagi tanaman agar dapat berkembang dengan baik adalah sebesar 40%-60%. Untuk menjaga kelembaban tanah pada nilai kelembaban sebesar 40-60% diperlukan penggunaan teknologi yang maju. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan, perancangan sistem pengendalian kelembaban tanah yang dibuat menggunakan sensor soil moisture, raspberry pi sebagai kontroler, lalu motor servo sebagai actuator. Bila nilai pembacaan sensor dibawah 40% maka motor servo akan on dan membuka valve untuk melakukan penyiraman dan bila nilai pembacaan sensor mencapai 40% atau lebih motor servo akan off. Hasil dari pengujian alat yaitu sensor soil moisture didapatkan nilai sensitivitas sebesar 0.994% dan nilai akurasi sebesar 99,4% dan mendapatkan error sebesar 0,006%, nilai histerisis sebesar 0,04575 %. Pada uji respon sistem berdasarkan waktu didapatkan sistem mampu mencapai set point (40%-60%) ±20 detik dengan persentase kelembaban yang terbaca pada detik ke 20 sebesar 44%, dan motor servo dalam kondisi off setelahnya.

Soil moisture is one of the factors of plant growth and development, where the growth of this plant requires a certain level of soil moisture in order to develop properly. The general soil moisture value for plants to develop properly is 40% -60%. To maintain soil moisture at a humidity value of 40-60% it is necessary to use advanced technology. In the research conducted, the design of soil moisture control systems is made using a soil moisture sensor, raspberry pi as a controller, then a servo motor as an actuator. If the sensor reading value is below 40%, the servo motor will be on and open the valve to do the watering and if the sensor reading value reaches 40% or more, the servo motor will be off. The results of testing the tool that is soil moisture sensor obtained a sensitivity value of 0.994% and an accuracy value of 99.4% and an error of 0.006%, a hysteresis value of 0.04575%. In the system response test based on time it was found that the system was able to reach the set point (40% -60%) ± 20 seconds with the percentage of humidity read on the 20th second at 44%, and the servo motor in the off condition afterwards.
