Abstract
Masyarakat Distrik Sorong Kepulauan sangat membutuhkan sarana transportasi laut untuk menunjang aktivitas sehari-harinya. Sebagian besar aktivitas masyarakatnya seperti bekerja dan sekolah bergantung di Kota Sorong. Angkutan penyeberangan yang tersedia saat ini masih belum bisa mengakomodasi masyarakat yang hendak menuju ke Kota Sorong atau pulau lain disekitarnya. Untuk itu, angkutan penyeberangan yang terjadwal dan memadai sangat dibutuhkan. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan pola operasi angkutan penyeberangan di Distrik Sorong Kepulauan dengan menggunakan metode optimisasi untuk mendapatkan ukuran kapal yang sesuai, dengan memperhatikan minimum total cost. Jenis rute yang dianalisis adalah multiport dan gabungan antara port to port dan multiport dengan 3 skenario pola operasi. Kapal yang terpilih adalah yang beroperasi secara port to port dan multiport menggunakan 2 kapal dari Sorong – Doom – Sorong dan Sorong – Soop – Raam – Sorong. Kapal ini memiliki ukuran utama sebagai berikut, Lpp: 26,17 m, B: 8,72 m, H: 2,54 m dan T: 1,31 dengan total cost sebesar Rp 9.700.293.315 per tahun.

The people of Sorong Islands District need of sea transportation to support their daily activities. Most of the their activities such as work and school depend on Sorong City. The sea transportation that available at this time still cannot accommodate people who want to go to Sorong City or other nearby islands. For this reason, adequate and well-scheduled crossing is needed. This Final Project aims to plan the pattern of crossing transport operations in the District of Sorong Islands by using an optimization method to obtain the appropriate size of the ship, taking into account the minimum total cost. The type of route analyzed is multiport and a combination of port to port and multiport with 3 operating pattern scenarios. The selected vessels are those that operate in port to port and multiport using 2 vessels from Sorong – Doom Island – Sorong and Sorong – Soop Island – Raam Island - Sorong. This ship has the following main dimensions, Lpp: 26,17 m, B: 8,72 m, H: 2,54 m and T: 1.31with a total cost of Rp 9,700,293,315 per year.
