Abstract
Melihat fenomena krisis arsitektur nusantara di kota Jakarta, budaya Betawi yang memiliki arsitektur Betawi pun terkena dampak dari perkembangan kota Jakarta, dari segi teknologi, informasi maupun pembangunan. Gedung-gedung tinggi tumbuh pesat setiap tahunnya berbanding terbalik dengan rumah tradisional, serta jumlah pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin padat tiap tahunnya dan lahan pemukiman semakin menipis. Fenomena tersebut menimbulkan permasalahan pada desain, direspon dengan rumah susun sebagai respon terhadap pertumbuhan penduduk dan juga respon terhadap krisis identitas arsitektur Betawi. Dengan memakai pendekatan arsitektur mengkini Bertujuan untuk mewadahi budaya serta masyarakat Betawi dengan rumah susun Betawi yang semakin modern. Arsitektur Betawi tradisional harus dikembangkan hingga menyesuaikan keadaan yang ada sehingga terlihat identitasnya sebagai budaya yang ada di Jakarta. Dengan metode arsitektur transformasi yang mengolah unsur-unsur arsitektur tradisional Betawi, yaitu program ruang, struktur, bentuk dan ornamennya. Sehingga transformasi menjadi konsep desain dalam perancangan objek bangunan rumah susun yang bergaya arsitektur Betawi.

Seeing the phenomenon of the nusantara architecture crisis in the capital of Jakarta, Betawi culture which has Betawi architecture was affected by the development of the city of Jakarta, in terms of technology, information and development. Highrise buildings grow rapidly each year, inversely proportional to traditional houses, and the population growth is getting more dense every year and residential land is getting thinner. This phenomenon raises design problems, responded by flats as a response to population growth and also the response to the Betawi architectural identity crisis. By adopting an architectural approach, it aims to connect cultural growth with increasingly modern technological developments. So that it can bring up a new forum for the community, especially Betawi. Traditional Betawi architecture must be developed to adapt to existing conditions so that its identity is seen as a culture in Jakarta. With the transformation architecture method that processes traditional Betawi architectural elements, namely the space, structure, shape and ornamentation program. So that the transformation into a design concept in the design of objects in the Betawi architectural style apartment buildings that can accommodate the behavior of its people, especially the Betawi community.
