Abstract
ADHD atau Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder adalah gangguan perkembangan saraf dalam hal pemusatan perhatian yang disertai hiperaktif yang dialami oleh 4 hingga 5% orang di dunia. Diketahui bahwa 4,2% anak di Jakarta memiliki gangguan ini. Respon keluarga dan pemerintah dalam menangani ADHD adalah dengan menyediakan sekolah inklusi dan sekolah luar biasa (SLB). Di Indonesia, pemahaman tentang ADHD yang minim dengan tidak adanya wadah ekspresi untuk penyandang ADHD mengembangkan dirinya. Pada proposal ini akan membahas bagaimana ADHD menjadi ide wadah ekspresi dan pemahaman dengan media taman publik. Proses desain akan dimulai dengan iterasi dari analisi, sintesis, penilaian dan pengambilan keputusan atas aspek formal dengan perilaku pengguna. Aspek formal akan ditelaah keterhubungannya dengan persepsi yang dihasilkan penyandang ADHD. Formula dari konfigurasi aspek formal akan membentuk kualitas ruang ramah bagi penyandang ADHD untuk dapat mengekpresikan diri. Bentuk dan ruang rancangan mengurangi batasan-batasan yang di alami penyandang ADHD dalam ruang publik. Rancangan desain menciptakan aktivitas bersama untuk mengekplorasi rangkaian ruang dan material berdasarkan persepsi yang dihasilkan pengguna.

ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder in terms of concentration that is accompanied by hyperactivity experienced by 4% to 5% of people in the world. It is known that 4,2% of children in Jakarta suffer from this disorder. The family and government response in handling ADHD are by providing inclusive schools and special schools (SLB). In Indonesia, an understanding of ADHD is still lacking and can be seen from the absence of an expression facilities for people with ADHD. This proposals will discuss about how ADHD becomes an idea of a space for expression and an understanding of it with public park as a medium. Design process will start with an iteration of the analysis, synthesis, value, and decision-making from formal aspect and user behavior. The formal aspect will be explored on the basis of the perception of the perception of children with ADHD. Formulas from formal aspect’s configurations will form a quality space for people with ADHD to be able to express themselves. The form and design of the space will reduce the limitations experienced by people with ADHD in the public space. The designs will create joint activities to explore a range of spaces and materials based on the perceptions generated by the user.
