Abstract
Studi perbandingan antara polipirol dan polianilin dilakukan untuk mempelajari kinerja masing-masing sebagai media pendukung senyawa bioaktif ekstrak daun dandang gendis (Clinacanthus nutans) dalam pengaplikasiannya sebagai sensor asam askorbat. Elektroda emas/PPy/ekstrak daun dandang gendis dibuat secara elektropolimerisasi dengan potensial -1,2 V – +1,2 V, sedangkan elektroda emas/PANI/ekstrak daun dandang gendis dibuat dengan melapiskan anilin pada permukaan elektroda secara elektropolimerisasi dengan potensial -0,4 V – +0,8 V, kemudian ekstrak daun dandang gendis diadsorpkan kedalam lapisan polianilin. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa elektroda dengan bahan modifikan polipirol lebih selektif sebagai sensor asam askorbat dibandingkan polianilin

Comparative study between polypyrrole and polyaniline was carried out to learn the performance of each as a supporting medium for the bioactive compound of the dandang gendis (Clinacanthus nutans) leaves extract in its application as a sensor of ascorbic acid. Gold electrode/PPy/ dandang gendis leaves extract was made by electropolymerization using a potential of -1.2 V – +1.2 V, while the gold electrode/PANI/dandang gendis leaves extract was made by coating aniline on the electrode surface with electropolymerization with a potential of -0.4 V – +0.8 V, then the dandang gendis leaves extract is adsorbed into the polyaniline layer. The result showed that electrode with polypyrrole modified material were more selective as ascorbic acid sensor than polyaniline.
