Abstract
Tuberkulosis adalah penyakit menular langsung yang
disebabkan oleh kuman TB (Mycrobacterium tuberculosis),
sebagian besar kuman TB menyerang paru, tetapi dapat juga
mengenai organ tubuh lainnya. Secara nasional 7,5% angka
kematian di Indonesia disebabkan oleh penyakit tuberkulosis.
Provinsi Jawa Timur memiliki kasus TB terbanyak kedua setelah
provinsi Jawa Barat. Data Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur
tahun 2014 menunjukkan kasus TB mencapai 42.458 kasus.
sarana sanitasi dasar sehat, persentase penduduk miskin,
persentase gizi buruk, persentase tenaga kesehatan terlatih dan
jumlah rumah tangga ber-PHBS. Berdasarkan hasil pemodelan
didapatkan model spline terbaik yaitu spline dengan kombinasi
knot. Nilai koefisien determinasi yang didapatkan adalah 83,42%
dengan tiga variabel prediktor dalam model berpengaruh
signifikan

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease directly caused by
bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis), most of the bacteria
attack lungs, but can also on other organs. Nationally 7,5
perrcent mortality in Indonesia are caused by tuberculosis. East
Java has the second highest number of tuberculosis cases right
after West Java. Data from Health Office of East Java in 2014
show that the number of TB cases reached 42.458 cases.
Preventive action by the goverment is by control the factors that
influence tuberculosis. In this research, nonparametric spline
regression method is used for modeling the number of TB cases in
East Java. This method is used because the data patterns between
the number of TB cases in East Java showed no inclination
specific pattern with the factors that suspected to influence, that is
the percentage of families with primary healthy sanitation
ownership, the percentage of the poor population, the percentage
of malnutrition people, the percentage of trained health workers,
and the percentage of households with health and clean
behaviors. Based on the generated model, the best spline models
is spline with combination knots. Determination coefficient value
is 83,42 percent with three predictor variables in the model have
a significant effect
