Abstract

Kualitas telah menjadi salah satu faktor keputusan konsumen
yang paling penting dalam pemilihan antara produk dan jasa yang
bersaing. Suatu produk memiliki kualitas apabila sesuai dengan
standar kualitas yang telah ditentukan. PT Philips Indonesia salah
satu perusahaan terbesar sebagai produsen lampu. Pada bulan
September 2014 kualitas proses produksi lampu TL di PT Philips
Indonesia memiliki persentase cacat yang tinggi. Salah satu
subproses yang memiliki persentase cacat tinggi yaitu subproses
stem making & mounting. Sampel yang berbeda-beda dan
karakteristik kualitas bisa diukur dengan melihat apakah produk
itu cacat atau tidak maka metode statistika yang digunakan adalah
peta kendali atribut yaitu peta kendali U. Data diambil selama 2
tahap yaitu tahap 1 dan tahap 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan
mengetahui kapabilitas proses produksi lampu TL pada subproses
stem making & mounting sudah kapabel atau tidak. Hasilnya
menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pergeseran proses antara tahap 1
dan tahap 2, kapabilitas proses tahap 1 dan 2 belum kapabel. Dari
hasil diagram pareto tahap 1 cacat tertinggi yaitu elektrode satu
dan terendah centerland tidak ada. Sedangkan pada tahap 2
tertinggi yaitu tanpa coil dan terendah centerland tidak ada.

Quality has become one of the most important factors for
consumer’s decision to choose between products and services
competition. A product has the quality if it’s according to the
quality standard that have been determined before. PT Philips
Indonesia is one of the biggest lamp manufacturer. On September
2014 the quality of fluorescent lamp production process in PT
Philips Indonesia had a high defect percentage. One subprocess
that had a high defect percentage was stem making and mounting
subprocesses. Different samples and quality characteristics can
be measured by looking at whether the product is defective or not,
the statistical method that be used was the attribute control chart,
it’s a map of the U control. The data were collected during two
stages: stage 1 and stage 2. This research aims to determine the
process capability production of fluorescent lamp on stem
subprocesses making and mounting already capable or not. The
results show that there is no shift in the process between stage 1
and stage 2, the process capability stages 1 and 2 have not been
capable. From the Pareto diagram, the highest defect of stage 1 is
one electrode and the lowest is no centerland. And the highest
defect of stage 2 is no coil and the lowest is no centerland.
