Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X merupakan salah satu produsen
gula di Indonesia yang berkantor pusat di Surabaya. PT. PN X juga
memiliki usaha bioetanol yang berada di kawasan salah satu unit
usahanya yaitu di pabrik gula Gempolkrep, Mojokerto. Dimana pabrik
bioetanol ditargetkan dapat memproduksi 30.000 KL bioetanol per
tahunnya. Untuk menunjang produksi tersebut, sistem kelistrikan pabrik
bioetanol diintegrasikan dengan sistem kelistrikan pabrik gula
Gempolkrep. Hal ini tentunya berpengaruh terhadap sistem proteksi
pabrik bioetanol terutama apabila terjadi gangguan yang menyebabkan
nilai arus hubung singkat menjadi lebih besar. Hasil analisa dan simulasi
koordinasi proteksi pada sistem kelistrikan pabrik bioetanol PT. PN X
menunjukkan bahwa kondisi existing setting koordinasi rele arus lebih
fasa masih ada beberapa kesalahan koordinasi pada setting pickup dan
time delay serta peralatan pengaman (fuse) yang tidak dapat mengisolasi
gangguan dengan tepat. Melalui tugas akhir ini, dilakukan resetting rele
pengaman dan penggantian fungsi pengaman fuse menjadi rele arus
lebih. Dari hasil tersebut, direkomendasikan resetting koordinasi yang
tepat untuk sistem kelistrikan pabrik bioetanol PT. PN X.

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X is one of sugar producer in
Indonesia which is headquartered in Surabaya. PT. PN X also has a
bioethanol business in the area of one of its business units, namely
Gempolkrep sugar factory, Mojokerto. Where the bioethanol factory is
targeted to produce 30,000 KL of bioethanol per year. To support the
production, bioethanol factory electrical system is integrated with the
Gempolkrep sugar factory electrical system. This is certainly affect the
bioethanol factory protection system, especially if there is a fault that
causes the value of short-circuit current becomes greater. The results of
the analysis and simulation of the electrical system protection
coordination bioethanol factory’s PT. PN X shows that the existing
condition of phase overcurrent relay coordination setting there are still
some coordination errors on pickup and time delay settings and safety
equipment (fuse) which can not isolate a fault appropriately. Through
this final project, carried resetting the safety relay and fuse replacement
safety function becomes overcurrent relays. From these results, it is
recommended the proper coordination resetting of the electrical system
bioethanol factory’s PT. PN X.
