Abstract
Kebutuhan akan listrik di kapal saat ini sangat tinggi, karena
hampir semua aktivitas di kapal seperti berlayar, bermanuver,
bongkar muat dan lego jangkar membutuhkan konsumsi listrik
yang besar. Pada berbagai macam kondisi tersebut perlu diketahui
seberapa besar nilai losses tegangan atau tegangan jatuh dan cara
untuk melakukan perbaikan tegangan jatuh.
Pada penulisan tugas akhir dilakukan kajian secara teknis
cara melakukan perhitungan tegangan jatuh secara manual dan
membandingkannya dengan simulasi software ETAP. Pada
simulasi software ETAP digunakan load flow analysis dan motor
acceleration analysis sebagai metode untuk melakukan
perhitungan tegangan jatuh secara simulasi.
Hasil yang diperoleh terdapat tegangan jatuh terbesar pada
kondisi maneuver, saat starting bow thruster terdapat tegangan
jatuh selama 60 detik yang tidak sesuai dengan standar IEC 5%
dan tidak direkomendasikan oleh IEEE. Setelah dilakukan
perbaikan pada bow thruster dengan cara menaikkan tap
transformator sebesar 2,5% dengan tegangan sekunder 400V pada
hasil running load flow analysis dan memberi kapasitor sebesar
2000 kVAr, tegangan jatuh pada hasil running motor acceleration
analysis bahwa tegangan jatuh dapat diturunkan menjadi 13 detik

pada detik ke 6 – 13 yang sesuai dengan standar IEC dan
rekomendasi IEEE.

Demand for electricity in the ship currently very high,
because almost all activities on board such as sailing,
manuevering, loading unloading and anchoring requires large
power consumption. Various kinds of such conditions needed a
way to determine how much the value of voltage losses or voltage
drop and how to make improvements voltage drop.
In the final project studied it is technically how to do the
calculations manually voltage drops and compare them with
ETAP software simulation. In the ETAP software simulation used
load flow analysis and motor acceleration analysis as a method
for calculating the voltage drop by simulation.
The results obtained contained the biggest voltage drop on
the conditions of maneuvers, when bow thruster starting
contained a voltage drop for 60 seconds which is not in
accordance with 5% IEC standard and not recommended by
IEEE. After repairs to the bow thruster by increasing the
transformer tap at 2.5% with a secondary voltage of 400V on the
results of running load flow analysis and provide a capacitor of
2000 kVAr, vltage drop on the results of running the motor
acceleration voltage drop analysis could revealed to be 13

seconds at the second 6 until 13 are in accordance with standard
IEC and IEEE recommendations.
