Abstract
Nogogeni merupakan mobil riset ramah lingkungan mahasiswa Departement Teknik Mesin Industri yang dirancang untuk mendapatkan efisiensi tinggi. Mobil Nogogeni menggunakan kayu berjenis jati sebagai mounting reducer dan baterai. Untuk mendapatkan komponen mobil yang ringan maka dipilihlah komposit sandwich serat rami core honeycomb plastik bermatrik resin epoxy sebagai bahan alternatif pengganti kayu jati untuk mounting reducer dan baterai. Penelitian diawali dengan perhitungan teoritis pada mounting reducer dan baterai yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekuatan bending mounting. Dan selanjutnya metode simulasi ansys structural mounting reducer dan baterai, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai equivalent stress pada mounting. Setelah itu dilakukan metode simulasi ansys acp komposit sandwich core honeycomb dan serat rami bermatrik resin epoxy yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai equivalent stress dan mengetahui perbandingan serat rami dan honeycomb plastik yang digunakan untuk komposit. Setelah dilakukan simulasi, dilanjutkan dengan proses pembuatan benda uji komposit sandwich dengan standart ukuran pengujian ASTM C393. Setelah itu dilanjutkan pengujian bending dengan menggunakan metode three-point bending untuk mendapatkan hasil yang nantinya dibandingkan dengan kekuatan mounting reducer dan baterai Nogogeni evo v. Dengan perhitungan teoritis didapatkan hasil tegangan bending sebesar 0,06 Mpa. Untuk menggunakan metode simulasi ansys structural mounting didapat hasil bahwa nilai equivalent stress sebesar 29,355 Mpa. Dan metode simulasi ansys acp komposit sandwich didapat hasil nilai equivalent stress sebesar 32,516 Mpa. Pada metode pengujian three-point bending komposit sandwich juga didapat nilai tegangan bending maksimalnya sebesar 87,7136 Mpa. Jadi komposit sandwich serat rami core honeycomb plastik bisa digunakan sebagai bahan alternatif mounting reducer dan baterai pada mobil Nogogeni.

The study begins with theoretical calculations on mounting reducer and a battery that aims to determine the bending strength mounting. And further structural ANSYS simulation method of mounting reducer and battery, which aims to determine the equivalent value to the mounting stress. Once it is done ANSYS simulation method acp composite honeycomb core sandwich and hemp fiber epoxy resin bermatrik which aims to determine the value of equivalent stress and determine the ratio of hemp fiber and honeycomb composite plastics used for. After the simulation, followed by the manufacturing process of composite sandwich specimen with a standard size of ASTM C393 testing. The theoretical calculation results obtained with bending stress of 0.06 MPa. To use the ANSYS structural simulation method of mounting the result is that equivalent value of 29.355 MPa stress. And ANSYS simulation method acp sandwich composite obtained results equivalent value of 32.516 MPa stress. In the method of three-point bending test of composite sandwich also obtained the maximum bending stress value of 87.7136 MPa. So hemp fiber sandwich composite plastic honeycomb cores can be used as an alternative material reducer and battery mounting on the car Nogogeni.
