Abstract

Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan implementasi
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) pada sistem methanator
yang berfungsi untuk mengkonversi CO dan CO2 sisa proses CO
shift conversion dan CO2 removal ke dalam bentuk Metana (CH4),
sebelum memasuki proses sintesis amoniak. Analisis kualitatif
pada masing-masing komponen/unit penyusun sistem methanator
adalah berupa penjelasan fungsi (system function) yang diikuti
dengan hasil pengolahan data yang disajikan dalam tabel FMEA
dan tabel decision worksheet. Analisis kuantitatif pada masingmasing
komponen/unit penyusun sistem methanator didasarkan
atas hasil perhitungan keandalan (reliability), ketersediaan
(availability), keterawatan (maintainability), serta hubungan
antara laju kegagalan (failure rate) terhadap langkah preventive
maintenance yang diimplementasikan terhadap masing-masing
komponen/unit. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa
komponen kritis berdasarkan nilai keandalannya yang sudah
mencapai 0,6 saat sebelum 1000 jam operasi adalah unit-unit
besar itu sendiri, yaitu Exchanger 114-C, Methanator 106-D, dan
Cooler 115-C. Pada akhirnya, dari 7 unit/komponen yang ada,
didapatkan 1 komponen dengan scheduled restoration task, 2
komponen dengan scheduled on-condition task, dan 4 komponen
dengan no scheduled maintenance, berdasarkan hasil
implementasi preventive maintenance.

In this final project there is an implementation of Reliability
Centered Maintenance (RCM) on methanator system which has
main function in converting CO and CO2 from CO shift
conversion and CO2 removal system to Methane (CH4) form,
before entering synthesis of ammonia process. Qualitative
analysis in each components of methanator system is about
explanation of system function that is following with the result of
data processing which is written as FMEA table and decision
worksheet table. Quantitative analysis in each components of
methanator system is based on measurement of reliability,
availability, maintainability, and the relationship between failure
rate and preventive maintenance that is implemented to each
components. From the result, we know that critical components
based on its reliability of 0,6 before 1000 operation hours are the
main components, such as Exchanger 114-C, Methanator 106-D,
and Cooler 115-C. Finally, from all the 7 components, we got 1
component with scheduled restoration task, 2 components with
scheduled on-condition task, and 4 components with no scheduled
maintenance, based on the implementation of preventive
maintenance.
