Abstract

Setiap peralatan di pembangkitan listrik, baik peralatan utama maupun penunjang memiliki umur ekonomis. Peningkatan umur peralatan akan mengakibatkan naiknya biaya operasi dan pemeliharaan. Untuk itu, sangat penting dilakukan perencanaan jangka panjang yang sistematis, terintegrasi dan bersifat komprehensif dengan melakukan pemodelan untuk pemilihan peralatan sehingga bisa dipilih action plan yang optimum. Saat ini pengambilan keputusan dalam melakukan penggantian peralatan dilakukan berdasarkan pada ketidakmampuan peralatan untuk beroperasi, tanpa memperhitungkan biaya operasi dan pemeliharaan. Operations Research (OR) dengan program matematis binary integer programming diusulkan untuk membuat model pengambilan keputusan dengan mencari cara terbaik dalam merancang kapan melakukan penggantian paling optimal untuk menghasilkan keuntungan maksimum. Langkah ini dilakukan dengan memperhitungkan nilai pemasukan, biaya operasi dan perawatan, nilai sisa, dan biaya investasi suatu alat. Biaya pengambilan keputusan diperhitungkan dalam periode 10 (sepuluh) tahun. Dalam penelitian ini pemodelan matematis diaplikasikan untuk 10 (sepuluh) peralatan pada Desalination plant. Dari Hasil optimasi diperoleh langkah-langkah pengambilan keputusan berupa mengganti atau mempertahankan berbagai peralatan Desalination plant selama 10 (sepuluh) tahun perkiraan umur hidup peralatan yang mampu menghasilkan biaya minimal.

Every equipment, both main and supporting, in electricity generation, has an economic life. An increase age of assets will be followed by an increase of operating and maintenance costs. It is therefore very important to carry out a systematic, integrated, and comprehensive long-term planning by conducting economic evaluation modeling on the condition of the equipment in order that the optimum action plan can be selected. In the existing condition the decision about the replacement of equipment is based on the inability of the equipment to function, without considering the increase of operating and maintenance costs that have been incurred. A binary integer programming mathematical program is used to model decision making to find the most optimal replacement policy to generate maximum profits. With considering the value of income, operating and maintenance costs, salvage value and investment cost. The handling cost is calculated in a period of 10 (ten) years. In this study mathematical modeling was applied to 10 (ten) equipment in the Desalination plant. From the optimization results obtained by decision-making steps in the form of replacing or keeping parts of Desalination plant equipment for 10 (ten) years estimated life of the equipment capable of producing minimal costs.
